There was a man named Matthew who was very successful,but was also sickly. Matthew quickly learned that no money or fame would amount to his health. Every doctor failed to cure him, no woman would touch him for the fear of getting infected, family members delighted to see him dying.
As hope was gone he daydreams the past, when his mother told him a story about the Mystic Mountain.
"They said that there are gods who live on that mountain that would grant humans a dying wish" she said.
"They say one must be dying to have made a wish, but if one was granted one, one must never tell"she said covering her lips.
As those words linger in his mind, his will to live became even stronger.
He said to himself "I who has everything but also has nothing, cannot just die here waiting for death
I might as well wish to the gods a miracle".
And so he proceeded to climb the mountain. As he climb higher the weather became colder, even the path became darker."It's so c-cold" while rubbing his hands together. Enduring the cold nights he finally reaches the top. The top of the mountain was full of villagers it seemed. But Matthew's condition got worse, "H-help help me" he shouts but no sound is heard."Am I gonna die here?" He thought. But a sudden figure appeared.
