A summer full of touring was fantastic for Motionless in White. It brought lots of advertisement to their most recent album, and they gained more and more fans with each show they did. They went all over the country - all over the world, yet Chris still managed to find time to message Eve whenever he could.
Eve understood that he couldn't talk to her every day; she knew that making a living by touring in a band would take up a lot of Chris's time, so it didn't bother her at all if he couldn't get a hold of her for a few days. Chris also understood that Eve had an incredibly busy schedule as well. He imagined that working towards a Master's degree was a lot of work, so Chris also understood that there would be times where he could be free to talk and Eve wouldn't be. All in all though, they kept in touch relatively well, and it was nice to have someone to talk to other than his bandmates that he saw every day.
Eve continued to take art commissions to make money off of, but when it came to her independent art, she'd begun to pick up a new muse: Chris.
Eve had grown more and more curious about Chris and what he was like, so whenever Paul wasn't around, she'd begun watching Motionless in White music videos and even interviews. She'd come to find that she really enjoyed listening to them, and to metal music in general. Finding out that Chris actually wrote most of the band's music was incredible to discover as well.
Eve also noticed how strikingly different Chris Cerulli and "Chris Motionless" were. She wasn't sure if she would admit it even to herself, but Chris was extremely attractive in makeup. He seemed to have an attitude about him - in a good way. It was great, it was charming, it was...sexy.
Eve had never really found anyone to have that sort of quality before. She'd had sex before, but she'd never really looked at someone doing something completely non-sexual and still found them sexy. However, there were obviously still plenty of sexual notions in MIW's music and videos that Eve couldn't help but be intrigued by. Watching Chris tug the clown's chains in the "Necessary Evil" music video, as well as the numerous other sexual notions Chris portrayed and all of the other people in the music video making out and touching each other in such promiscuous ways, made Eve's throat run dry.
But that was it. She just found him aesthetically pleasing! Anyone who didn't think that Chris was physically attractive was kidding themselves. She was allowed to think that he had attractive features - because that was all about him that she found attractive.
At least, that's what she told herself. Despite the fact that she couldn't seem to stop herself from drawing him.
Another part of Eve was just so confused. Why was Chris continuing to talk to her? Was he just being nice? Why did he bother being friends with her? What qualities did she possess that made him find her so interesting? Did their friendship have as much meaning or depth to him as it did to her?
These were not the kinds of questions that Eve wanted to ask Chris over text message. If ever.
Meanwhile, Chris knew that he was getting into trouble.
He'd admitted to himself long ago that he was at the very least a little bit attracted to Eve. He couldn't deny that she was beautiful. Granted, most of the clothes that she wore hid her body, but that didn't matter. She had such a pretty face, and Chris loved how many freckles she had, and her eyes - God, her eyes. He'd never seen eyes so blue. And she had this big, pretty hair that smelled amazing when he hugged her.
And she also just had this amazing heart. She knew that her father wasn't putting the money his church was getting to good use, so Eve took it upon herself to take that money and put it towards giving it to the homeless or those in need. Chris had even texted her the night that the big protest happened politely asking her to stop giving his band gift cards and put that money towards charity or feeding the hungry - Motionless in White had enough success that they didn't necessarily need donations from fans anymore, and that money was better off spent on those who really needed it.
