The school bell rings for the second time, which makes us stand up. The principal shakes my dad's hand and looks over at me.

"Get well soon Mrs l/n", she smiles and shakes my hand too.

I nod and leave the room with my dad. It seems like it's lunch time now. I don't really want to walk through the hallways now, knowing that everyone is gonna be staring at me as I do.

But dad doesn't hesitate before storming out of the office. People immediately start staring at me, which makes me slightly uncomfortable.

Suddenly I see a familiar face smiling at me.

"Dad, I'm just gonna say hi to a friend so you can go wait in the car", I whisper, stopping him. He nods and continues throughout the hallway.

I practically run over to Hunter Chandler, who's over at his locker.

Hunter Chandler's pov:

I lift up y/n and spin her around, not caring about anyone else in the hallway. I place her down just to see her giggling.

God my heart breaks every time I see her face. Now it's more healed though.

"Wassup", she smiles crossing her arms.

"Just missing my ba-", I stop mid sentenced but quickly continue. "B-Best friend!". 'Fuck! I almost said bae. That was a close call'.

"Aww I missed you too", she wined punching her fist into my shoulder while making puppy eyes.

As she continues talking, I see Kate, Rae and Mrs.Flemning walking down the hall. The two girls looking down at the floor, while Fleming looks hella mad.

Kate suddenly looks up and we make eye contact. She gives me a disgusting glare before taking her eyes off me, and focusing her attention to y/n.

"What are you looking at?", y/n asks and turns around before I get to do anything.

Kate's face drops and her angry glare turns into a shallow and shameful look. I'm frozen in the situation.

We see them fade away in the hallway. Y/n slowly turns back to me, now refusing to make eye contact with me. I hear someone call her name across the hall and turn to see it's the other Hunters.

She slightly smiles and gives them a small wave, but it's obvious she's upset.
They one by one give her a long hug as they come over, before letting her go.

"You look great, you're really healing", McNamara smiles stroking her chin.

"Y-Yeah, thanks Hunter", she shutters. I see her almost tearing up. Even more people start coming over and talking to her.

"I-I can't do this..", I hear y/n mumble as she runs away from the crowd, holding her arms around her stomach.

The crowd slowly disappears and moves towards the cafeteria. In the end it's just me and the other Hunters.

"What just happened?", Duke asks rubbing the back of his head.

"You're so dumb Hunter, y/n clearly got upset because of everyone crowding her", I grunt crossing my arms. It makes Hunter look down at the floor. 'God he's an idiot', I sigh.
