Today was my first assignment. Remember Jason? Not insane. There really were monsters. Quick thing about this place. It is full of creatures with no place on this earth and physically cannot be here, live here, or walk here. But they do. I studied biology and would know how impossible it is. A good example, SCP-173. Quick thing, each creature is named SCP then a number. It represents the procedures taken to contain and secure it. I don't know what SCP stands for yet but back to today's assignment. SCP-173 a.k.a The Statue's containment fills with blood and feces. So weekly it has to be cleaned. Before I went, I got a lecture not to take my eyes off of it, and telling the other people when I am blinking. The consequences of not doing the procedure would lead to certain death. I asked other Class-D why, and he said it could only move when not being looked at it. It moves faster than the blink of an eye and can snap your neck if you blink and it's 50 meters away. I went in to clean it with Conner and Payton, they said they would watch it while I mopped. While we were there we analyzed it to see what it was made of. It looked and felt like concrete. Confused, I finished the assignment quickly so I could discuss it with a scientist. I requested an audience with a scientist. At first it was declined, but for some unknown reason they relented. I met with someone named Dr. Cleff. he confirmed that it was indeed made of concrete and rebar. I asked how it moved with no living cells in it or even decayed muscle tissue, he just smiled and said she was special. "She?" He nodded, got up, and left. Later, we did a class on procedures, most of which make us a meat shield. Apparently, SCP-096 a.k.a Shy Guy will kill anyone who looks at its face, whether from a photograph or video in space, it will kill you and is indestructible while pursuing its target and can go as fast as 500 miles per second! The one that worried me the most was SCP-682, the one Jason wanted to release. SCP-682 a.k.a The Hard To Kill Reptile hates all life and has incredible speed, strength, agility, adaptability, and scariest, regenerative ability. It is almost impossible to contain and breaches daily, constantly switching sites. It wants to kill all life on Earth. And Jason wants to release it.
