We all decided to longboard to this view Anna was going on about. She looked so cute when she was talking about it. We were all riding down this small hill when Anna looked back to see where I was. It was a moment that you only see in the movies I swear. Her hair was blowing in the wind and she looked back and gave me a smile. It was all in slow-motion. I couldn't stop looking at her. Next thing I know, I hit a rock in the pavement and flip forward onto the concrete. All I felt was my face breaking my fall. I was lying on the ground in shock at what had just happened when I heard Anna scream. My eyes were closed but when I opened them I see Anna above me.
Anna: "Are you okay?!" She asked frantically.
"Yeah I'm fine, my face hurts pretty bad." I responded.
I brought my fingers up to my face and looked down at them. They were red from the bleeding
Mia: "let's get her back home, she needs ice like now."
lyric: "I'll go grab the car so she doesn't have to walk."
About ten minutes later Lyric pulled up to pick us up. I stumbled into the car while holding on to Mia and Anna's shoulders. When we got home Anna brought me to her room. Anna cleaned up the blood from my face and put some bandages on the cuts. She also put rubbing alcohol on my road rash, which hurt like a bitch to say the least. They all surrounded me for hours not letting me fall asleep in case of a concussion.
Anna: "how did you even fall bub?" she asked
"I guess I got distracted." I said softly.
By this time it was about 10 am and all of us had yet to sleep. Lyric and Mia ended up passing out on the floor of Anna's room and Anna was sitting at the end of the bed. She crawled over to me and got behind me. She wrapped her legs around my waist and she rested my head back on her chest. I was so content. There is so much more to Anna then a pretty face. No one understands how complex and different she is. She knows exactly what to say and how to say it to comfort me. I rested my eyes and listened to her heartbeat. I ended up falling asleep. When I woke up no one was in the room and I heard laughing downstairs. And it sounded like a guy...
