Chapter 1 -- leader

Chapter 1 -- Leader

'No lunch again? Yijun Lin? Didn't I tell you to bring things in today? Where does your cousin hides all his cakes and food, I bet he prefers to feed the dogs than give them to you.' A strong push sent the weak boy onto the floor, his books falling out from his backpack.

'Please, don't hurt me. Leimen, please.' Yijun whispered and kneeling on the dirty floor he began to stuff everything back into his bag, only to receive a kick in the stomach.

'I can't hear you. Speak louder, you think I'll let you go before you beg for mercy from me? I will do this to you everyday, you will suffer for every second of your life, and if you let anybody know, you are dead you hear me?' Leimen said calmly, bending down to reach Yijun's eye level, he then raised his voice. 'And all of you, you hear me? If I hear that any of you had spilt this little secret between us, then you are dead.'

The classroom became silent, no-one dared to breathe, no-one dared to looked at the boy on the ground but they were all thankful towards him, if he wasn't the victim, then any of them could have been. Even the previous victims of Leimen's acts looked down onto the ground, no-one dared to breathe a word about this, considering Leimen's status in the school.

The tension was high until the bell rang loudly in everybody's ears, movements were heard once again as they rushed to their respective seats, Leimen gave one more kick to the boy on the ground before he too strolled to his own seat. Yijun hurriedly gathered his belongings and walked to the bottom of the classroom where a lone table was standing.

Sounds of high heels echoed in the corridor next to the classroom and only a few second later, the door was opened and a young woman walked into the classroom.

'Is everybody here today? Good.' She scanned the classroom, ignoring Yijun's dirty state before giving a smile to Leimen. 'How are you today, Leimen? Is the amount of homework from teachers okay for you?'

'Yes, Miss Steller .' He smirked and winked at the teacher before placing his legs onto the table.

Once again, the action was ignored by the teacher just like any other day. She cleared her throat before starting again. 'Today, we have a new student.' Groans from the whole class were heard.

'Why does our class always get the newbies? It is not fair! Are we test subjects or something?'

'Anyway, he is transferring to our school from South High, so treat him nicely okay?'

The whole class was then in chaos.

'South High? Do you mean the South High?'

'No way! We are not having anybody from South High in our class! We will get murdered in our sleep!'

'Did he get expelled from South High? How do you even get expelled from such a school?'

'Everybody! Please listen! He was not expelled from South High, but because of other reasons, please treat him equally as everybody else, I am sure you will all become friends with him very soon.' She then mentioned outside the door. A tall but relatively good looking boy walked into the class. Once again, nobody was silent.

'Wow, he is cool, but I bet he is even worse than Leimen.'

'You can just see from his face that he is from South High.'

'Look! There are even scars on his left hand. Scary.'

'A bunch of rich spoiled brats. What are you looking at?' A small girl whimpered, bowing her head as the huge shadow walks past her, finally silence. 'I will be sitting here, Miss.' Without any announcement or introductions about himself, the nameless boy dropped his bag onto the ground with a loud and careless bang.
