Kyungsoo was with all of EXO, looking at different animals to see which one would suit each one of them all since they had wanted pets. "Kyungsoo which one are you going to get?" Kai questioned "I don't know yet I'm thinking a cat" he was about to give up looking until he saw one that caught his eye. A cat that had black fur and green eyes, it looked like it had been through surgery due to the bandages on their paws. The cat looked at him and kyungsoo smiled at him "want to come home with me?" He said in a soft voice and the cat put its paw on the glass, meaning it wanted to go home with him. "Kyungsoo you've chosen already?" Baekhyun asked him "Yes this cat I want to take home" he had bought the cat and kept him in his arms whilst the others were picking, once he got home, he had placed the cat down on the floor so he can get used to the environment. "So what's your name little one?" The cat had understood that and he ran to the whiteboard and pen on the fridge, took it off and wrote it with his mouth. It managed to be clear saying 'chanyeol', kyungsoo found it an interesting name and spoke "chanyeol Hm?" The cat nodded, making kyungsoo smile. "Cute name" the cat jumped onto kyungsoo's lap on the sofa but whimpered as he landed "take it easy yeollie you still haven't healed" the cat rested in kyungsoo's arms and the younger smiled at the cat.
*few months later*
In these past few months, kyungsoo got really close to chanyeol and he was a cat that would stay next to him like a magnet and wouldn't mind getting petted anytime of the day. One day, kyungsoo had wondered where chanyeol went since he had normally been by his side, he had let kai come around and it was all calm in the house. Kyungsoo was in the middle of cleaning the bathroom until he felt the house shake, it suddenly stopped and he headed downstairs to see kai pinning something down that looked like a small figure. He looked to see him pinning a hybrid boy, he had the exact same tail and ears as chanyeol, Kai's body was pinning him to the kitchen floor and heard kai spoke "I've got him down!" "P-please let me e-explain" chanyeol spoke but kai puts his head to the floor "What do you want monster!? Why should we listen to you??" "P-please can you let me speak?" "Kai get off him and let the boy speak" Kai got off him and saw his ears, including the tail were real. "I know you may not believe me master but I am chanyeol" "show me" he turned into his cat form, making the 2 younger boys shocked "w-w-how!!? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He said the question in a soft voice, making chanyeol go into his hybrid form again.
"I k-knew you would r-return me back to the s-shelter" "What? No I wouldn't do that to you I love you so much as my pet..........I could never give you away" he hugged him as he said them words to the older male, making chanyeol cry. Kyungsoo had placed his hand on the back of chanyeol's head and placed it just under his neck, letting the older cry into his shirt. After a while, he scratched behind chanyeol's ear, gaining a purr from the hybrid, kai had thought the purr was cute and fussed the other ear, making chanyeol smile and let out a louder purr. "You're such a cutie" kyungsoo said smiling "he is I'm jealous that he's yours, anyways I've got to go" "ok" as kai left, chanyeol sat on kyungsoo's lap and curled up into a ball, enjoying the petting he got on both ears. "I'm so glad you're my pet" "can I ask a question?" "Sure yeol what is it?" "Can I be more than your pet?" "Like you mean? You know?" "Yes I want you to call me yours and no one else's" "ok" kyungsoo had cupped chanyeol's face and kissed his plumpy, pink lips.
