Prologue
"STOP! YOU CANT DO THIS JAY!" I screamed. I can’t believe he is doing this, he has lost it, he is going to kill all of them. How do I stop him he is too strong for me to handle they took her they took kira. I’m running my body is so cold I forgot my coat at my post with Emma. I’m trembling but I’m not sure if it’s from the cold or the fear. I am faster than jay I catch him just before he sets the alarm off and give us all away. I hold my hand over his mouth so we won’t be herd we hide in the shadows till the commander gave us orders to fall back because the jepordization jay put on the mission. we get a mile or two away when i release my hand from jays mouth and untie him he falls to his knees "she’s really gone isn’t she". I hesitated for a little then as I’m starting to say yes the commander chimes in and say's "we will get her back but don’t do anything stupid like go looking for her". The commander gives orders to return to camp we walk in silence the last mile not a sound except for the leaves crushing under our feet. At camp the commander cane and Jeremy walk around inspecting for bombs hidden cameras any evidence of an enemy nearby once it’s clear some of us sit by the fire while others go on watch. I clean my gun and gear before going into the cave and getting a nap in before I’m on duty to watch. I finish cleaning I start walking toward the cave when to my far right I hear a large crash. I look scanning with my gun ready to shoot an enemy when I hear it again then I clearly see Emma running toward me no enemies in sight so I let my gun down and run toward her. I catch her and hug her tight “I thought you were gone how did you get away”. Emma quickly responds with “where is kira?” I here footsteps then “she was taken but I’m going to get her back I swear it” I looked it was jay I saw tears in his eyes.
