Later, after Alika returned Jonas to his mother, Alika finally got home to talk to Amy. Amy is Alika's thirteen year old daughter.
When Alika walked through, she found Amy lying on the living room carpet, sobbing. The tears were not of joy, only sorrow, and everything reminded her of her brother. Everything that had happened finally started feeling real to her. Nothing but sorrow filled her mind. Nothing felt happy, or sad. It was just, flat out, depressing. The world was like torture to her. No one should have to go through that. No one.
"Mom, I'm so sorry. I did this to myself. I'm so sorry. I did this to you. I did this to everyone who ever knew or cared about Adam! I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to." Amy said through tears.
"What are you talking about, Amy? You didn't do anything. You are not going to say otherwise, because you did absolutely nothing wrong. I love you, sweetheart. I just want you to know that." Alika said, taking Amy in her arms.
"You have no idea how much pain I've caused! I'm sorry! I'm going to go to my room now, as punishment for what I've done. Goodbye, Mom! I love you. I just need to catch up on my sleep."
"Okay. I'll come up and check on you in about an hour. So go ahead."

When Amy entered her room, she ran straight to her dresser. She pulled out a 9 millimeter pistol, but she couldn't find any rounds. She kind of saved herself more than anything at that moment.
So, instead she packed the indispensable stuff, and climbed out the window with two-thousand dollars in her pocket. She had been saving up for this very moment. So, she could run away from her troubles and never look back.
"Goodbye, Mom. Goodbye, Adam. I'm so sorry, but I have to do this. I have no choice after what I did. I'm coming for you Rebecca! You'll be reunited with Adam shortly." Amy says as she walks down the road, not looking back, going to see Rebecca.
