My Merman Boyfriend

Chapter 1

-The underwater world-

"Your Majesty, the leader of the Dark Ocean, is declaring war!" One of the knight guards who are guarding the borders of the South Sea said anxiously.

"What? How dare he!" King Aquarius was mad. But he was also worried that if a war broke out, his people would be in danger.

The King doesn't want this to happen, but his brother, the Leader of the Dark Ocean, is greedy. He wants the throne, and he wants to be the Lord of the South Sea.

The Dark Ocean is a part of the underwater world, which has a lot of different kinds of sea monsters living there. They've been thrown away for the past centuries because they are dangerous, they are wild, and they eat humans, mermen, and mermaids.

The Dark Ocean has been sealed by the Lord of the South Sea, Lord Aquarius. He sealed it with his magic power so that the living sea monster there can't swim any other parts of the sea, and can't harm anyone. But Tyrant, his selfish brother, becomes the leader of the sea monsters, and he lets the sea monsters escape; he lifts the seal and lets the sea monsters roam around.

One day, he declares war, and he uses his noxious sea creatures to be his warriors.

"My creatures ATTACK!!!" Tyrant shouted.

The Merman warriors are getting ready to defend their palace.

"Protect the King!!" one of the guards shouted and they started fighting.

The Merman warriors are outnumbered, there are too many sea monsters. Especially those sea monsters are huge; it takes five to ten warriors to take down one monster.

While the Merman warriors are busy fighting, Lord Aquarius and Tyrant are fighting each other.

Unfortunately, Lord Aquarius is injured due to the sea monsters he fought earlier, plus the dark spell put on him by Tyrant, and he becomes weaker and can barely fight Tyrant.

"I can show you mercy if you give me your trident and your throne." Tyrant said while pointing his spear to Lord Aquarius.

"Stop this Tyrant!" Lord Aquarius yelled furiously.

"You can't tell me what I should do! If you are not gonna give up your throne, you are gonna end up like your people!" Lord Aquarius saw a lot of his warriors were already dead. He can't give up his throne because he knows his brother, he will just use it for evil purposes.

"No!" Lord Aquarius shouted.

"You will die then!!" Tyrant aimed his spear at Lord Aquarius, but Lord Aquarius just dodged it. He can't use his magic power because Tyrant puts a dark spell on him that prevents him from using his power; if Lord Aquarius forces him to use his magic power, he will die. So he just uses his trident to protect himself from Tyrant and uses it to harm his brother.

They have a serious fight, and one of them doesn't give up. But Lord Aquarius is already hurt because of the spell that Tyrant put on him. He became weaker and weaker until his magic power was gone.

"FATHER!!" his third son shouted worriedly.

"What are you doing here?! Where are your older brothers?" he asked worriedly. His son was supposed to stay hidden to avoid danger! He told the older brothers to protect him but where are they?!

"Both elder brothers, are fighting the sea monsters." He answered as he shifted his gaze to the two young mermen trying to kill a monster fish. They joined the battle; they couldn't just stay and hide; they were also warriors who needed to protect the Kingdom.

"Well, well, well the third Prince who will be the next ruler of this Kingdom." Tyrant smirk. "I'm gonna take it from you!!" Tyrant rushes towards the Third Prince. The Third Prince immediately summoned his scarlet spear to block Tyrant's attack.
