Marlon was sitting on the ground hugging his knees, alone. Thinking on what's going on back in Ericson, hoping they were stay safe and warn from the winter. Everything was cover in snow, and from what Clementine remember telling him that AJ was born in the beginning the winter. He looks at AJ's bracelet, Rosie walk up and lay next to him. He pets her head while still looking at the bracelet.
Marlon: Happy birthday, Buddy.
Then there was a knock on the door. The door open, and Bryan enter the room. Marlon looks up at him and give him a glare.

Marlon: Hey Bryan, what do you want?
Bryan: Boss wants to see you
Marlon: Again?
Bryan: Yeah. He seem to like using you a lot.
Marlon: I can tell. Tony surely hates that.
Bryan: Well, he was in this group longer then you.
Marlon: Just give me a minute and I go see him.
Bryan: Of course. Make sure you wear your hat and gloves, he wants you outside.
Bryan left the room. Marlon took a deep breath before he got up and walk over to his bed and grab what he needs. He had a black beanie, and brown gloves. He button his jacket and grab his bow and quiver and left the room.
He finally made his way outside. The sky was blue, surprisingly. There was snow up to it least a half foot high. He see Boss over by a campfire, he walks up to him. Boss turns over to him.
Boss: Ratboy. Good to see you here. I'm sure your wandering why I call you again?
Marlon: Yes sir.
Boss: There was some footprints of an animal over by the lake, and since your the only with bow and dog, I would like it if you can see if you can catch it.
Marlon: Don't we have enough food for the winter though?
Boss: Yes, but I though about a little plan you can do. If you can catch that animal, I need you to make a campfire and cook the meat, that way if there someone out there, they will follow the smoke and see you. Just to make sure that only we are still safe being here. Understand?
Marlon: Yes sir.
Boss: Good. Now go on.
Marlon walks away, he starts headed to the lake. This was the first he had ever walk alone in the woods in the winter. He remembers walking in the winter when he was with his Conrad's when they were out hunting. But now he was out here only with Rosie, but still feels really lonely. For the first time he actually feels homesick. He miss waking up in his own room in the office, hearing Louis telling jokes, Omar's cooking, Tenn's sweet voices and sitting next to Clementine when they watch AJ playing with Rosie, Willy, and Tenn.
Once he made his way the lake, he see nothing. Just footprints everywhere. But he was just thinking to much about his group, he was getting worry about them. (Remember, when he gets scare, he gets angry.) He pick up a rock and throws it really hard, then kicks the snow and give out a cry of anger, and goes down to his knees with his hands on his head.
Suddenly he hears a noise, and quickly gets up with his bow and starts walking to where the noises is coming from. He saw footprints of a person, going over to a pile of logs. He puts out an arrow and aim his bow, and jumps behind the logs and to his surprise to see who he was seeing.
Marlon: Louis? Violet?
Violet: Marlon?
Louis: Is that really you?
He lower his bow and puts the arrow back in his quiver.
Marlon: What the hell are you guys doing here?
Violet: We came out looking for you.
Louis: We wanted to make sure that you were okay.
Marlon: Your not suppose to be here. If they see you, they might do something to you guys.
Violet: Are you for real now?
Louis: Who are these people you are with anyway?
Marlon: It's kinda hard to explain. These people are on a mission to take down the new frontier who didn't join Javi.
Louis: There are bad new frontier now?
Marlon: There leader was a old woman, who use to run Richmond before Javier. She was planing on to take Richmond back, and we are trying to stop them before they can attack.
Violet: That's just fuck up.
Marlon: It is. How are the others back at home by the way?
Louis: They're alright, were just stay inside the piano room for a while.
Marlon: What about Clementine? Is she okay?
Violet: She's okay, she just got a little bit of a cold. But other then that she doing much better.
Marlon: Thanks god.
Louis: What do you want us to do?
Marlon: I need you guys to headed back to the school. Clementine has a walkie-talkie in her room. I need you to use it to warn Javier about the former new frontier.
Violet: Okay. We will.
Louis: Stay safe, Marlon.
Marlon: You too.
Louis and Violet walk away. Marlon stand there feeling relief that everyone is okay. Soon he hears his other self once and again.
Voice: You must get to Richmond with your new friends, and stop them before they get to Ericson next.
Little did they know, Marlon's mind was slowly taking control to his other self, feeling like he was forgotten who he was. But he will do what he can to make sure that we'll never happened. He finally walks away, headed back to the camp to tell the others on his plan.
Marlon's Thought: I sure hope this will work.
