Iwaoi Angst

Oikawa pov~ 

Me and Hajime Iwazumi have been best friends since child hood. We both started playing volleyball around the same time, we both went to Kitagawa First, and now we both go to Aoba Johsei. 

The only bad thing is i'm in love with him. We see each other day, we have many classes together, we spend weekends together, and we walk home together. 

I realized i was in love with him in middle school around 2nd year. I have no idea if he feels the same but i plan to tell him today.

Time skip to afternoon volleyball practice-  

"Iwachannnnn~"

"What shittykawa?"

"I don't like these names but i was wondering if were walking to your house or mine today?"

"Lets do mine, moms making dinner."

"Sounds like a plan Iwachan" 

During practice i could feel my nerves starting to act up in anticipation. I'm pretty sure coach could tell i was thinking but i knew iwachan could tell too. 

Setting a high ball to Kindaichi i could feel iwa's eyes through the back of my head. "Sorry Kindaichi, that was high."

"Its fine Oikawa-senpai, are you okay? You seem out of it today." 

"Just thinking about some things Kindaichi, no need to worry."

Practice seemed to go much slower than normal but once it was over, i was practically bouncing off the walls. 

"Iwachannnn~ are you ready?" 

As a volleyball knocks me in the back of the head, Iwa walks by and says, "Be more quiet crappykawa."

A quiet, "So mean Iwachan~" leaves my mouth as we start to walk from the club room to Iwas house.

Making small talk about different topics, whether it be aliens, Godzilla, or volleyball we make it to his house. It seemed quicker than normal but i guess talking about me being abducted by aliens makes time fly.

As i open his door, i say "Auntiee, were homee."

"Hello boys! Dinner will be ready soon, will you be spending the night Tooru?"

"I'll figure out Auntie, thank you. Were gonna head up stairs to do homework."

Walking up the stairs to Iwas room, i stop by the bathroom to calm my nerves.

Iwazumi pov~

While oikawa was in the bathroom, i sat down on my bed and thought about the day. He was acting weird today.. weirder than normal. His sets were often too high or too low, his face was almost crimson all day. What if he's sick? That dumb crappykawa was probably sitting in the rain again looking for aliens. Snapping me from my thoughts, Oikawa sat down on my bed next to me. 

"Iwachan, i need to tell you something."

Confused but still intrigued i respond, "Okay oikawa."

"I-I like you."
