Third-person POVThe morning after the wild night at the bar, Soobin found himself in a fancy hotel room, suffering from a monstrous headache. "Oh right...I went to the bar and-" he groaned, the memories of his night coming back. "Damn, I shouldn't have drunk so much last night. Why did I have to do that?"
As he looked around the posh room, panic set in. "Oh no, am I in someone else's house? Don't be absurd, Soobin, you couldn't have done something that stupid!" But the hotel logo on the pillow cover suggested otherwise. "How did I end up here?"
The room was fancy and expensive, way beyond Soobin's budget. "Lord, it's just been a day since I got fired, and now I'm already broke!" he mentally cried, his eyes wide with horror. "This hangover is the least of my problems." Dread consumed him as he ran out of the hotel room and straight to the lobby.
"Excuse me; I'm checking out. How much am I supposed to pay?" Soobin asked the receptionist.
"Your room number, sir?"
"Uhh, room number XXXX."
"Oh." The receptionist smiled, her eyes scanning the screen. "The person who brought you here already paid for the room and left."
Soobin's eyes widened in surprise, "Wait, someone brought me here? Who was it?"
The receptionist looked thoughtful, "He seemed familiar, but I can't quite remember where I saw his picture. Probably read about him in an article or something."
"Do you happen to have a picture of him?" Soobin inquired, feeling curious about the person who helped him.
"Yeah, I guess it's in the article. Let me check." She pulled out her phone and started scrolling.
After a few seconds, she exclaimed, "AH! Found it!"
She showed Soobin a picture of a tall, young, blue-haired man with a fierce expression. His heart skipped a beat as he looked at the photo. "Wow, he's..." Soobin trailed off, unable to find the right word to describe the blue-haired man.
"No wonder he paid the hotel bill like it was nothing," the receptionist said with a knowing smile, clearly impressed by the mystery man's wealth.
'Well, at least I don't have to worry about the hotel bill,' Soobin thought, trying to find a silver lining in the whole situation.
As his shift was about to end, Soobin thanked the receptionist for her help and made his way back to his and Felix's apartment.
"Felix is going to kill me for disappearing like that," Soobin muttered to himself, his hangover still lingering. But when he arrived, Felix was nowhere to be found. "Phew, lucky break," Soobin sighed in relief.
With some time to spare, Soobin decided to treat himself to a nice brunch to soothe his hangover. He headed to a nearby cafe, hoping to enjoy a quiet meal alone. Little did he know that fate had other plans.
As Soobin sat down at a table, a server approached him, pen and notepad in hand. "Welcome, sir! What would you like to order?"
Before Soobin could answer, he glanced up and saw none other than the blue-haired man from the photo, standing a few tables away. His heart skipped a beat, and his face flushed with embarrassment. "Oh no, this can't be happening."
The server noticed Soobin's distraction and followed his gaze, realizing he was looking at one of their regular customers. "Oh, you know him?" the server asked, not aware of the awkward situation.
Soobin stammered, trying to act casual, "Uh, no, not really. Just saw him somewhere."
The server nodded, not giving it much thought. "Alright then, take your time to decide on your order."
