Ririchiyo's P.O.V.

Natsume..what are you doing here? I attempted to scoot closer to him, but before I could even move an inch, the mysterious man stomped down hard on my leg. Wincing from the sudden pain, I bit the inside of my cheek to stop the cry that almost escaped my lips. By the amount of pain, I knew he must have broken my leg and it definitely wouldn't help with trying to escape this hell hole.

From the tear covered lashes, I glanced up at him with a pained expression. "Will you mind taking your foot of my leg? It's starting to become annoying, ass." He just gave me a hard glare and within my head, I felt something click. A whisper came through, "Don't toy with me, Princess. I'm doing this for your own good. Just behave." Keeping his gaze, I noticed he gave me a wink but slowly covered it up with a swipe to his eye. What did he mean by he was doing this for my own good? Was he trying to help me?

Shaking my head, I choked up, "What is he doing here? He has nothing to do with this?" Before the man could speak, my father walked in from a door on the left. Aha, I've found the exit. He swatted the man away and the pain on my leg turned to faint pounding of blood. "What do you want, father? What did you mean that Miketsukami killed ten men? You never did give me a straight-forward answer."

"Daughter, everything is going to work out splendidly because of Miketsukami. No need to worry now. As for you though..I'm afraid we'll have to dispose of you." He crouched down next to me with a long knife in the palm of his hand. I attempted to scoot far way from him, but he had a death grip on my forearm. Staring into his eyes, I felt all the hatred and disgust he felt towards me and realized that he never had loved me. He only was focused on getting this revenge on Miketsukami and his stupid business. The only person he truly cared about was my mother and I remember when I was younger, he used to beat on her when he would get angry. I was not about to let my father kill me and definitely not going to let him kill Miketsukami.

Taking a deep breath in, I started to transform. My father's reaction spurred on a new found confidence in myself and I knew immediately he was no expecting me to transform. Breaking free of my bounds, I used my blade on my staff to move my father to the ground. As my blade is about to slice his throat, I stop myself. I am not a murderer. I am not like my father. I lowered my blade and ran over to Natsume, who had his head down and I could see tears running down his cheeks. I've never seen this side of Natsume, the side that he never shows. The tears are a symbol of his sadness he has for us and sadness that we may not make it out alive. I knelt down next to him and swept his bangs out from his eyes.

I spoke softly as not to startle him, "Natsume, we can go now." His gaze raised until it landed on my eyes. His eyes were bloodshot red, but I could see a hint of happiness swirling in the irises. He grabbed my hand and whispered through his scratchy voice, "Thank you so much, Ririchiyo. Let's go." We both stood up and faced my father who was on the ground with his head in his hands, whispering the same sentence over and over. "No..No. This was not how it was supposed to go. No. He's going to kill me." Part of me felt bad for my father and another part of me reminded me of all the bad things this man has done to me, Natsume and Miketsukami.

I spoke directly to my father with a tough tone, "Father, I would help you, but after all of this..I don't believe you deserve my kindness. I hope you rot in hell and I hope this man comes and disposes of you." The words came off my lips like venom dripping from a snake's mouth. I couldn't help how harsh these words were as I spoke them to my father. Ririchiyo..he deserves this.

Natsume and I walked out of the building after getting the key off of the man who broke my leg. He seemed defended and continued to apologize and saying it was his job. I ignored him and continued walking about with a beat-up looking Natsume. One of his bunny ears must have been tore off and he looked completed exhausted and relived that we were leaving together.
