I woke up the next day drenched in sweat. I wiggle out of Enji's arms to get ready for the day when I hear his deep voice.

He groans at the loss of contact and I giggle, throwing a pillow at him.

"Get up big guy," I shouted while playfully punching his arm.

"It's a big day for you," I shout again, trying to get him up.

He grumbles and ignores me yet again.

"I guess I'll have to find another guy to fuck-" I say tauntingly.

"Such a shame, I really liked you Enji."

I begin walking out of the room when I feel two strong arms wrap around my body, picking me up and carrying me back to bed.

I gasp and screech at the sudden contact.

Enji places me down on the bed and begins attacking me, littering my face in kisses.

I giggle and attempt to push him off of me. Ultimately failing. I don't know why I thought I'd be able to push this big ass man off of me.

He eventually stops and goes to the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

I take the opportunity to go to the kitchen and begin preparing breakfast.

After a few minutes of mixing ingredients in a bowl, Enji walks into the kitchen and stands next to me, peering over into the bowl.

"What are you mixing?"

"I'm glad you asked babe. This is a-"

He interrupts me. "Babe?"

"Yes."

He raises his eyebrow at me, even though I'm facing away from him.

"What's with the new nickname?"

"I-" I stop what I'm doing and look down at my feet, embarrassed at what I'd done. "I'm sorry, it just kinda slipped out ya know..."

"It's fine Y/N. It was a little cute. Plus, we are a couple aren't we?" His voice softens as he says that. He reaches into the refrigerator to grab a variety of fruits for him to put in his smoothie.

"He basically said we're official!!! I'm internally renegading right now!!!"

I shake the thoughts out of my head and mentally slap myself for being so careless.

I don't want to say anything that'll upset him. Especially on a day like today where he's already tense. Instead, I focus on making breakfast.

Today is the day where he's officially announced as the Number One hero.

He and the other 9 heroes on top will be put on display for the world to see, almost as valuable merchandise for the public hero safety commission.

I don't like the idea of my boyfriend being merchandise but it's the price you pay for fame, money, and power.

I finish cooking breakfast and prepare two plates, sitting them down on the table in the dining room. Enji is sat at the table, looking down at his phone, except there's nothing on it.

He's just staring at a blank screen, lost in space.

"Aww! Enji, darling," I say, placing his plate down in front of him. I kneel next to him and pull him into my arms, running my fingers through his hair, rocking him back and forth. "I know it can be scary but you've got this. Have you forgotten who you are? The obstacles you overcame to get here? You're Enji Todoroki, Endeavor, the Number One hero. You're here babe, you got here yourself." I realize that I used the word again, but I don't even care. Right now my main concern is making sure my boyfriend feels comfortable enough to stand in front of a crowd and take his place at the top of the podium.
