It's monday morning, my very first day at UA high. I am so incredibly grateful to be given the opportunity to go to this school, my aunt and uncle jumped through so many hoops to get me here.
I jump out of bed and put on my school uniform. I race down the stairs to see my family sitting at the table eating breakfast.
"Goodmorning Kiyomi! How did you sleep?" My aunt asks with a giant smile on her face.
"Honestly i didn't get much sleep, i was tossing and turning all night because i was just so excited!" I say.
"It's nothing too special so don't get your hopes up." Hitoshi says as he rolls his eyes.
"Now now Hitoshi don't be a buzzkill, we are so proud of both of you for getting this far." Says my uncle as he gives me and Hitoshi a pat on the back.
"We should get going we are going to be late." Hitoshi says as he gets up from the table and grabs his bag. I also get up from the table and grab my bag as we head to the front door.
"Alright you to stay safe! I hope you have a wonderful first day Kiyomi!" My aunt says as she waves goodbye, tears filling in her eyes.
"Goodbye we love you!" I say as i wave back.
*Skips to when we arrive at school*
wow i'm really about to step foot into UA high!! I have to keep my cool, can't let anyone see me screaming with joy that'll just make me look crazy!
"So you ready?" Hitoshi asks with a grin.
"Ready as i'll ever be!" I say with a smile.
"Good,now let's go." He says as he walks into the building.
