"What's wrong baby?" Duke came in the hotel room panting.
Yep it's a baby alright !
Duke and I never talked about kids,i don't know how he will react to all of this.
"I was waiting for your downstairs but they told me you weren't feeling well and you came to rest. What's wrong sweet cheeks?"he kissed the top of my head.
"Duke " I took his hand and placed it on my stomach."I'm pregnant"
He froze. All the blood leaving his face.
Oh!
"I know this unexpected, I know but th...but it's a blessing -and I know your not ready for this but I need you to be next to me , I can't -I can't do this alone but I get it you need space and -" duke grabbed my head and gave me heart stopping kiss.
It was sweet and gentle but I pulled away grinning at him.
"I'll take this as I'm super happy that we're having a baby."
"I'm gonna be a dad" he mumbled while placing a hand on my stomach.
"I'm gonna be a mommy" I sighed placing a hand over his.
"I love you so much duke"I mumbled with tears eyes , before he could say anything, I crushed my lips to his. I had caught him by surprise. But Duke responded in an instant. His soft lips moved in sync with mine.I could feel myself pouring all my emotions in that one kiss. I stood on my toes, pushing myself closer to him than was humanly possible.
His hands circled my waist, as he picked me up effortlessly. His tongue entered my mouth overwhelming me. A moan passed my throat,and Duke moved his lips away from mine. I looked into his dark eyes "I love you too"he breathed out ,and I tried to kiss him again but he pulled away.
"Just let me remove my jacket first."he started removing his jacket slowly , teasing me obviously, so I yanked his jacket off throwing it in the air a velvet box and a couple of photos landed on the floor with the jacket.
I gasped this couldn't be.
Duke ran next to the jacket grabbing the velvet box running back to me crouching on one leg , then opening the event box showing me the most gorgeous wedding ring ever.
it was gorgeous .
A simple diamond in the center of the silver band.
"I know this is also sudden and I had this bigger surprise planned downstairs and fireworks , music - "I cut him off
"I get it, I ruined your surprise. Would you just ask and stop making me feel bad."
"Way to ruin my heart warming speech " I glared at him -he's actually really scared of me when I glare at him just so you know - "dam woman . Will you marry me?" He grinned at me with hopeful eyes.
"Ummm no "he froze
"What ?"his voice came high pitched. Like super high.
"Hhhahahah of course I do . Yes yes yes a million time yes." I shouted kissing him smack on the lips .
"I'll get you back for that one later." and he started tickling me.
And that's how we spent the night laughing and making out while going through the old pics duke had brought with him for the surprise which I ruined.
Ooooppppssss.
