"This is the last straw, Lina. You're off to boarding school. I cant deal with you anymore. You come home late and leave the house without telling me. And not only that but Im not happy with the amount of boys you bring home. Im sorry, but Im done with you." said Lina's mother. "The amount of times you've said that but dont go through with it. C'mon mum, we both know that all I have to do is apologise and I'll be fine." replied Lina. "No,thats it. Im being serious. Just wait and see." explained Lina's mum. "Oh I will".
*3 Months Later*
"I cannot believe my mum left me here. What am I suppose to do in a boarding school?" thought Lina.
*Lina's PoV*
As I walked through the gates I felt everyone looking at me,I was guessing it was because I weren't wearing their stuck up uniforms. As I approached the main entrance I was stopped by who I thought was the head teacher.
"Excuse me, but do you attend Western High?" Asked the old but good looking man.
"I'm starting today. Why?"
"Because you're out of uniform. Go and get changed. We do not tolerate students walking around on school campus without uniform unless it's a weekend or special occasion."
"Well how am I supposed to know that if I'm only starting today. And where exactly am I gonna get changed?"
"Not gonna, going to, and in your dorm of course."
"Did you not hear me? I'm starting today. I don't know where my dorm is."
"Well go on down to the head teachers office"
"Omg, I. Am. Starting. Today. Please tell me how you expect me to know where the office is?"
"We do not tolerate slang in this school, miss. Or attitude. But seeing as it's your first day, I'll let you off. I'll take you to the office but I expect an apology first."
"Yeah,about that,I'm not the kind to apologise so I'll just find my own way there. Bye sir!"
As I entered the school more heads turned to watch my every step. I thought the school would be old and rustic but it was pretty up to date. As I was turning around the corner, still navigating my way to this office when all of a sudden I bumped into a girl. Quite short but looks like she could be round 16,17. She gave me a look that could have stolen my soul and walked on.
It took about 10,15 minutes before I swallowed my pride and asked someone where it was. They directed me to a small room at the end of a corridor. I knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked again. No answer so I just entered. As I was just about to take a step into the office a hand fell onto my shoulder.
"You should really learn to knock"said a woman laughing behind me.
"Come on in"
"Take a seat"
"So you must be Katiluna"
"Erm, it's Katilina but I go as Lina"
"Well, Lina, welcome to Western High."
*20 minutes later*
"Alright,you're on floor 4, Corridor 8, Dorm 198."
"Thanks,miss...?"
"Mrs Powl"
As I made my way to my dorm I saw the girl I bumped into earlier except this time she was with 3 other girls and a boy. I had to walk pass them to get to my dorm so I held my head by and walked past. I stopped as soon as I heard 'Slut'.
"Erm,who exactly do you think you're calling a slut?"
"You."replied the boy.
"You sure you werent talking about your mother?"
I walked away before he could say anything.
I finally found my dorm room and when I tell you it was big, it was BIG. There was a kitchen and everything.
As I was unpacking my stuff and the door opened. I mean, it wasnt inexpected. I knew I was gonna get a room mate. But when I saw the person walk through the door...Oh,thats what I call unexpected...
I know this was a short chapter but it was the first chapter...Hopefully the rest of the chapters will be a reasonable length:)
