She woke panting and crying. Her lover held her tight and petted her head lightly. He said, "its ok boo, we'll get through these nightmares together. It going to be ok." She couldn't speak but only hugged him tight and croaked out "please don't let me go, please I love you," hugging him tighter. He simply held her whispering, "I wouldn't ever dream of it baby" while kissing her neck lightly.
