I woke to the familiar darkness of my room. As I opened my eyes that morning, I reached for my phone. It was charging on my nightstand like it did every night. I checked the battery, 98%, "that'll do," I thaught.

I opened YouTube and looked through my recommended list. I was about to click on a video when I saw him. I was recommended a video called "singing your tweets" (the video above) by a guy called RobertIDK. I'd never seen him before but the title and thumbnail had me intrigued.

His contagious smile, his adorable laughter, his ocean eyes, his wild hair and hot tattoos. His sense of humour and everything else about him brought the biggest smile to my face. I knew what I was doing that day.

I spent hours binge watching his videos. From his first video forward, I watched as many as I could in the time I had. Since I was unemployed at the time and living with my three best friends, I had all the time in the world to binge his content. Watching RobertIDK's videos really helped me forget about every problem that I was experiencing at the time. I'd never had the best life but, somehow, this random guy on the internet made me feel so much better. I hit the subscribe button faster than a bullet!

When I made the decision to get ready for the day, I put my phone down and walked over to my wardrobe. I picked out a (f/c) T-shirt and some black trousers. I took a shower and got dressed before going down stairs to make myself brunch (eggs and toast with bacon).

After I'd inhaled my meal, I ran back upstairs and looked at another video. I read through the description and saw the merch link. I didn't resist the urge to see what he was selling. After not too much thaught, I purchased the idk T-shirt. That's when it hit me. I could be a Youtuber! Look, I know it seemed crazy, but, if it went somewhere, it could be really cool!

I sat on my bed with my phone in my hand. Step one, coming up with a cool name. I eventually settled with (y/y/n), "That's a name that he'd be proud of." I thaught aloud, referring to Robert. Then, I sat down, and started to make my first video...

I'm sorry that this chapter was relatively short, hopefully the next one will be better.
