You sat silently on the same black metal bench in the park. Your sketch book in hand as you continued your sketch you started yesterday. You hand flowing over the page as you tried to get everything just right.

A few moments had past when you saw someone out of the corner of your eye. Glancing up you saw a rather large man in an all white tracksuit with sunglasses. The man next to him was holding a skateboard, red sweater tied around his waist, wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and green shorts.

You blinked at them a few times waiting for them to say something. They never did.

"Can I help you with something?" you tilted your head slightly as you watched the two in front of you.

"You draw right?" the man in the sunglasses pointed to your sketch. You gave him a nod of approval. "Can you draw like girly shit? You know animals and things."

You gave them each a questioning glance but nodded again. "I can. But you two don't seem like the type of guys who would be into that." You giggled lightly as the one with the skateboard started to blush.

"Clearly it wouldn't be for us. See we have this friend, Anna. She doesn't have many female friends and she really likes other peoples drawings." The man in white rubbed the back of his neck as he talked.

"Mmhm." You hummed as you closed your sketchbook. "So are you asking me to be this, Anna person's friend? And like draw shit for her?" You stood up and put your things in your bag, slinging it over your shoulders.

"Well, yeah. I guess so." The guy in white shrugged his shoulders as he and his friend watched you.

You looked at the two and shrugged your shoulders. "Alright."

Both boys looked at you surprised.

"R-Really?" the guy that had the skateboard finally spoke. Stuttering in the process.

"Yeah. I don't have many friends either, in case you haven't noticed." You rubbed the back of your neck as your face tinted a slight red. "But before I go anywhere I at least have to know your names."

"I'm Rikio." the one in the white tracksuit introduced himself.

You looked to the skateboarder and saw his face flush with red. "I'm Y-Yata." He rubbed the back of his neck and avoided eye contact with you.

You smiled at the two. "Well, Rikio and Yata, I'm (Y/N). Now lead the way."

------3 months later------

It's been three months since Rikio and Yata approached you that day in the park. They brought you to a bar called HOMRA. A place where you later figured out was home to the Red King and his clan. You were introduced to Mikoto, Izumo, Tatara, and the other guys. And, of course, Anna.

You and Anna grew quiet close rather quickly. Everyone grew used to you being around. Izumo even had a few of your drawings framed and hung them up in the bar. You grew close to everyone in your few short months with them. Well everyone except for one.

Misaki Yatagarasu.

For some reason the young vanguard never talked to you. All he did was stare at you and look away blushing when you caught him. You've tried numerous times to have a conversation with him. But still nothing. So eventually you just gave up. You talked to the others instead. Never glancing Yata's way.

One day you were sitting on the couch in the bar. Sketching away while the others were out on some mission. You heard the bell about the door ring. You looked out of the corner of your eye and saw a familiar skateboard. Saying nothing you continued your sketch. You felt the other end of the couch dip down as he sat. Hearing him place his skateboard on the floor next to him.

Minutes passed, the only sound being your pencil gliding over the paper in your lap. After a few more minutes you finished your sketch. Closing your sketchbook you set it and your pencil on the coffee table in front of you.

You looked out of the corner of your eye and saw Yata still sitting there. A clear blush on his face. You sat back on the couch, letting your head lean on the back of it.

"Do you hate me?" Your words came out in a whisper. If it weren't for his sudden movements and awkward sounds you would have thought that he didn't hear you.

"I d-don't hate y-you." His face was a deep crimson as he stuttered out his words.

You rolled your head to the side. Seeing him rubbing the back of his neck. "Then why won't you talk to me?" Your voice held the sadness you felt.

You could see Yata was trying to find his words. That deep blush still on his face. You finally heard him mumble something, but couldn't understand it.

"What'd you say?" You sat up and moved closer to him. He tried to move away but was trapped by the arm of the couch.

Yata let out an aggravated sigh. Turning to you he took a deep breath. You were extremely close to him. Inches away as he faced you finally. You gave him a confused look as you waited for him to talk. Although instead of words being said you felt something soft and warm on your lips.

Yata, however, pulled away before you could fully register what was happening. His face the deepest shade of red. You continued to sit there and stare at him for a moment.

"So...you wouldn't talk to me because you like me?" Yata gave a small nod in response to your question.

A smile broke across your face and you quickly moved to straddle him. Closing the distance between your lips before he could say anything. Your hands pushed his beanie off his head as they tangled into his chestnut hair. You felt his arms snake around you, pulling you flush against him.

Outside the bar stood the group of people that made up your new family. Watching what was happening inside the bar.

"I guess he finally told her." Rikio spoke and the others nodded or hummed in agreement.

Eventually they all decided to leave. Leaving you and Yata to make up for the past few months of not talking.

Not that you two were doing much of that now either.
