❝Doubt thou the
stars are fire;
Doubt the sun
doth move;
Doubt truth to
be a liar:
but never doubt
I love.❞
-William Shakespeare♥︎
We were home and he was packing his suitcase again. I was able to drop it for our honeymoon so we could have fun, but also so I could spend time with him before his month long trip.
He zips his suitcase up and looks at me. "Bay, I promise you that this...I'll make this the last business trip." He said softly. "Don't make promises you can't keep." I said coldly as I cross my arms over my chest. He sighs. "I'll keep this promise Bay. I love you and I'll be back as soon as I can." He said.
He leans down and kisses my head. On response, I kiss his cheek. He kisses my lips and I kiss back for a moment before pulling away. He hugs me tightly.
"I love you beautiful." He said. "I love you too love." I said. He left a soft kiss on my neck before he grabs his bag. I follow him downstairs and out onto the porch.
My brothers were waiting in the car that was pulled up here. Adrian added his suitcase to the car before looking back at me. My brothers were studying me and I'm sure it's because I haven't ever been this pissed off.
Adrian waves bye as he gets in the car. I didn't wave back. My family was across the street watching the car back out. Adrian looks back at me, but I turn and walk into the house, slamming the door. I walk upstairs and went to the room we are using as a nursery. It was an empty room that had blank white walls and a dark hardwood floor down.
I lean against the door way as I thought about what the nursery should look like. I don't know how long I stood there, but eventually I decided to just go to look around at a store.
I kind of have an idea of what I want. My phone rang and I looked down to see Adrian's name. I hit decline and soon it dings so I looked down to see a message.
Beautiful, please don't ignore my calls. I know your angry and upset I'm not there, but I promise you this is the last time I go on a business trip.
I turn my phone off as I quickly grab my keys and walk to my car. I got in it and drove off towards the closest Walmart.

It's a terrible idea to just go and buy things to get the rest of the idea together because by the end of my Walmart trip, I spent over two hundred dollars and I still had more trips. Now, I'm positive I spent over five hundred dollars. It was dark outside and I was surprised to see lights on at my moms house because they are normally asleep.
