Style: Part 1

Liam's Point of View

Ugh, here I am at the AMA's. Alone. Where the heck is Josh???? I can't believe it. I walked the red carpet and conversed with other celebrities like me who had no buisness being at a music awards show, just like a good boy. Now the show is already starting and he's no where to be found. Eff you Josh I think to myself. I'm about to get up to search for him when Pitbull's booming voice started rambling on about the first performer. I gave up hope of Josh's arrival when the music started. 

Taylor Swift appeared hanging above everyone, sitting at a dining room table? What the heck is up with this? I soon recognized the song she was singing though, and understood the significance to the craziness of her stunt. Just as I reached that thought, she choked her "boyfriend" with an apple. I couldn't help myself, I started laughing. She played this role so well, and while I don't know Taylor that well, I know her enough to know that none of those crazy boyfriend rumors are true. It was an excellent performance, I'll have to find her later and tell her how well she did. 

She finished her great performance, and I was the first to stand and applaud, followed by everyone in the theatre. I snapped myself back into it after I had finished clapping and reminded myself that I still had no idea where Josh was! Figuring that I shouldn't miss much of the show if I could help it, I decided that next TV commercial break I would go out to the entrance and look for him. 

Even though I still have no freaking idea where Josh is, I'm glad I'm here.

Taylor's Point of View

"And I'll write your name." I sighed as I finished my performance. What a rush! That was probably my favorite award show performance yet! I can't wait to do this on tour!

I rushed back to my dressing room where my hair and make-up artists were waiting for me. After a few touch ups, I was ready to actually be an audience member and dance like crazy. 

My phone buzzed and I got a text from my manager, "Tay, nice job girlie! Your driver is bringing you an energy bar to the front of the theatre, so head out there! I don't want you collapsing on stage while you get your award later!" I waltzed myself out of the dressing room and headed towards the front entrance without hesitation since I was informed it was a commercial break and I wouldn't miss anything. 

I found Bob, my driver, quickly and thanked him for the energy bar. I was looking down at the bar, trying to peel the wrapper when I ran into someone.

"Oompf!" I let out.

"Oh, I am so sorry!" a male voice replied.

We quickly recognized each other, and I chuckled.

"It's no biggie Liam. I haven't seen you in a while though! How are you? I loved Mockingjay! Your performance was stellar!."

"Taylor, I was just about to tell you the same thing! You were amazing in there!"

"Well that's too nice of you! I was hoping it would go well. What are you doing out here anyway?"

"Oh, yeah, I was looking for Josh. He begged me to come here and then he didn't even show. I'm about to head back in though, I don't want to miss any of the show."

"Me too. But I feel bad! I don't want you to be alone! I don't think I could really sit by you because the seats are assigned already and stuff, but do you want to hang with me and my friends at the after party?"

"I don't want to intrude..."

"Nonsense! Come on! It'll be fun!"

"Alright. Let's head back in then."

We walked right beside each other back into the theatre and for a second our shoulders brushed. Instantly I felt a spark. Dang it Tay. What are you doing to yourself? Letting your heart open for someone to take it just when you've become content with being on your own? Ugh. I have to shut this down. Ugh. As we reach our seats and Pitbull's voice comes back on, Liam smiles at me and thanks me for the invitation. I tell him where to meet me after the show and I head back to my seat beside Selena, Ella, and Karlie, who are all looking at me with curious looks on their faces.
