Chapter 2

Bella's pov

When I got into the town of Alaska I drove to a car park and I parked my car and then I turned the car off and took the keys out of it and then I grabbed my handbag and I opened the car door and I got out of the car and then I closed the car door and I locked the car and then I put the car keys into my handbag.

Then I swung my bag over my shoulder again and then I walked into town and I went to 6 or 7 shops buying thing left, right and centre and by the time I was done it was already 5pm and so then I walked back my car and I took the car keys out of my handbag and I opened the boot of my car and I put all my shopping into it and then I closed the boot and I locked the car again.

So then I put the keys into my bag again and then I walked to the park and I looked around until I saw a free bench and so I walked over to the bench and I sat on it and then I lifted my sandwich out of my handbag and I removed the clean filling and I started eating the sandwich and I took my time too.

Then when I was done the sandwich I just sat on the bench for a while just looking at the view at the ocean and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen and I must a went into a daydream because when I snapped out of it I saw the town clock said it was coming up to 7:30pm and I realised I had to get home before 8pm because I had to patrol because that's when the vampires come out.

So I stood up and I put the rubbish in the bin and then I started walking back to the car and as I was walking to the car I was stopped by a little girl about 6 and I saw she was sitting on the ground with messed up clothes and she smelt to and she said please will you be my mommy and I looked at her and I saw she was so sad and almost crying.

That's when I knew she hadn't had any kind of care for a while and I felt sorry for her so I got down to her level and I said sweetheart what's your name and she said my names Aleah and I said as I pulled her hair out of her face wow that's a pretty name so where's your parents and Aleah said mama gone, dada dead.

So I said oh my so who have you been with and Aleah said no one I live here and I knew I couldn't just leave her there and I mean what's one little kids going to do with my life and so I stood up and I picked Aleah up into my arms and I said not anymore your coming home with me and Aleah smiled and said thank you miss and I said as I started walking towards my car oh call me Bella and Aleah said thank you Bella and I said your welcome sweetie pie.
