In hindsight, maybe I should have minded my own business. Maybe I should have just went on about my life and not paid him any mind.
I should have walked by with no sign of interest. Sat as far from him as possible. Kept my eyes to myself. Shoulda, woulda, coulda right.
But did this have to be the outcome? What exactly did I do to deserve this? My untimely demise. It's funny how true the saying is.
