It was just another chilly day in New York.

When I moved here I forgot to see what the weather was like. It started snowing on the first day of winter and almost three days later it still hasn't stopped. I don't mind it too much though. Even if it's painfully cold, everything just looks so much more pretty with a layer of snow on top of it.

Even if it's below thirty degrees I still go to the park everyday. I just like being here, watching the kids play, sometimes people will ice skate on the lake and if I'm lucky the ice cream truck will come around. I usually just lay out a blanket in the grass and take a nap, read a book or just play on my phone. I don't know why I like this place so much. Actually I take it back. I do know why. It's because this is a happy place for me. This is where I got the call to be in my first play where I'll get paid.

I was so happy, I started jumping up and down and screaming and everyone looked at me like I was a psychopath but I didn't care, I was just so happy that I'd get to stay here and live my dream.

I moved to New York from North Carolina to pursue acting. As a sixteen year old with no money and still being in school, I'm really surprised that my mom decided to take me but she always understood me and knew I could make it as an actress. But my dad said that if nothing happens within the year I have to go back home but thankfully now I won't have too.

I have rehearsals most days but when I don't I just spend my time here. I don't have any friends in New York yet and I've always been kind of a bookworm and like i said, I like the cold so this is the perfect place to just chill and read a book.

My thoughts are interrupted by the buzz of my phone and I pick it up to see who it was.

          SHOOT!

I was supposed to leave thirty minutes ago. One of my mom's old friends is here for the holidays and we were supposed to go over to her house for a little Christmas dinner thing. I completely forgot but in my defense I was reading the hunger games and I always get so deep into those books even though I've read them over a hundred times.

I quickly grab my phone and blanket and shove them into my backpack. I go to the bike rack and scan my eyes for my own and when I find it I immediately grab it and hop on.

I love my bike. It's the one thing that reminds me of home. It's yellow and has little sunflowers painted on it, it's just so cute and I love it. Even though I'm going to get my drivers license soon, i don't think I'm going to stop riding my bike everywhere I go. It just makes it more fun. Feeling the breeze in my hair, and wincing as I feel the air hit my eyes and pedaling is also a really good exercise. It's just perfect.

My mom sent me the address of the house we were going to and it wasn't too far away. It was about a ten minute ride on the bike and I was fine with that. If you couldn't tell already, I love riding my bike.

Soon enough I arrived at the house and I got to admit, it was a NICE house. They must be rich because it's already expensive enough living in an apartment in New York. I noticed the doormat said Styles on it and I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of it being Harry Styles.

I LOVED him when I was younger and I still do.

Wouldn't it just be cool if it was him though?

Stop thinking that Juliet. There is absolutely no way that's possible and he lives in London and occasionally LA so yeah that's not happening.
