01| A Match?

I wanted to share a reminder with you all. This story is a rewrite and since I didn't want to affect my reads, I didn't delete it so old comments will be shown below.

It was quite a normal day for the Karasuno Volleyball team. They were practicing their receives and spikes when suddenly Takeda-sensei burst through the door. 

He was panting and stuttered with deep breaths in between, "E-veryone I-i h-have an ann-ouncement to m-make." Everyone went over to Takeda-sensei at once to listen to what he had to say.

After he finally got his breath, he started, "Everyone I have some big news to tell. We are going to have a practice match with the Aoba Johsai Volleyball Team."

The whole team was surprised and shocked at the news they had heard. They could hardly believe what their ears had heard. "WHAT?!", they all shouted in unison except for a few.

"I swear to God Takeda if you begged on your knees to them again.", Couch Ukai said, annoyance and irritation clearly evident in his statement. Who could blame the man though? He was fed up with Takeda begging in front of people just for a few practice matches. 

"Nope!", Takeda responded popping the P in his answer. "They came to me and asked for the match. And besides my begging aren't THAT bad." 

By hearing Takeda's words, Nishinoya and Tanaka shouted in unison, "WTF?!"

"Language you two!", Sugawara shouted tired of all the cursing. Kagayama was a little shocked but as for his partner, Hinata was fuming with excitement. 

"Whoohoo we get to play against the Grand KIng!!", He yelled in overwhelming enthusiasm. A few of them smiled at Hinata's outburst.

"If we are going to have a practice match against them, we need to have some tricks up our sleeves and besides it's not going to be easy as they are a power house.", As the team listening to Daichi words closely, a moment of silence prevailed in the gym.

"I completely agree with Daichi. Now that we have a match, I need you all to increase your skills and agility. I will prepare some exercises for you all to do later. For now,  all of you can go and practice.", Couch Ukai said in a serious tone to which the team obeyed their coach and went back to practicing.

Before leaving the gym, Couch Ukai gave them a list of exercises to do and they also discussed a of their plans to defeat the Seijoh.

"I would like some attention here guys. I have some news to tell you all."

The Seijoh boys stopped what they were doing and went over to their coach who was sitting on the bench.

"What is it Coach?", Oikawa asked in behalf of all of his teammates.

"Yeah. Why the fuck did you call us?", Kyotani said annoyance and little bit of anger in his tone.

"Don't be rude now, Kyotani.", Iwaizumi sighed at his underclassmen.

"Tch." Kyotani respected Iwaizumi more than anyone else so he kept quiet. "As I was saying now. You all are going to have a match with Karasuno."

Many head shot up and eyes widened at the mention of the name. "Karasuno? Isn't that where Tobio-chan went to?"

"Huh? I was going to say that too...", Kindaichi said hearing what his captain had said.

"Well now that we have a practice match soon, I want you all to practice as much as you can and get into a better shape. Got it?", the coach said trying not to stray away from the actual matter.

"OSU!!!!"

"So we are going against Tobio-chan team huh...This will be interesting.", Oikawa muttered under his breath smirking slightly at the thought of the match.

"Shittykawa get your thoughts together and continue practicing!", Iwaizumi yelled at his best friend.

"Mean Iwa-chan~"
