Remy's POV:

Remy stepped outside of the Philadelphia International Airport with his luggage. He felt rejuvenated and fresh, which he hadn't felt in a while. Stuart Little was going to meet him outside because he was going to the bathroom and getting a snack. Remy needed fresh air because even though things felt new, he thought that he and Stuart were going too fast. That's why he finished in the bathroom and didn't things push further with Stuart. He knew he pissed off the mouse, but he knew it was the right choice. He also liked to push Stuart's buttons because that mouse was too privileged. Remy glanced towards the entrance and saw Stuart Little emerge.

"Hey, cheesecake, sorry for the wait," said Stuart. Remy just smiled back at the mouse and mumbled, "That's fine." They stood in silence for a couple minutes until their Uber came. When the car pulled up, Remy was staring off in the distance and wasn't paying attention. Stuart nudged the rat and told him, "Our ride's here." They put their luggage into the car, and silence met them once again in the car.

"What's on your mind Remy," said Stuart after a minute of being in the Uber. Remy uncomfortably shifted toward Stuart and said, "We might be going too fast." The mouse sighed loudly and muttered, "I figured you might say that."

Remy continued, "It feels great with you, but we don't want to rush into things." Stuart said in a bitter tone, "Well, maybe if you weren't such a prude about it and actually talked to me, we could slow things down." Remy only responded with an eye roll and the middle finger. "Way to be mature, you know, you can be stubborn too," Stuart said. Remy could feel the resentment in Stuart's voice, but he didn't want to add fuel to the fire. Remy wanted to tell how he thought to the mouse, but he knew the mouse wouldn't get it. The rat looked over at Stuart, who looked defeated. "Look, I'm sorry, we don't have to make a big deal out our relationship just yet," said Remy in an apologetic tone. Stuart back smiled sadly and grabbed Remy's hand.

For the rest of the ride, the rodents sat in the backseat holding hands and smiling at each other. When they arrived at their hotel, they walked in together holding hands as well. The problem wasn't solved, but Remy knew it would go away if they worked it out.
