ADIOS MI AMOR

As I stare at that star,
I felt an ache in my scar.
The dragging waves of the sky
Made me remember your love full of lie.

From burning rays of summer
Turned to freezing point of winter
It's breeze sends me shiver
Reminds me "there's no such thing as forever"

Yes, you've made me believe in magic
But the end part was a moment so tragic
A moment I could never forget
A moment, so painful  "yet no trace of regret"

Depending everything on each other
Made both of us grow weaker
We started to blame on another
Just like "fixing us" apology got harder

Each day our love grows restless
Every effort ttruned out so pointless
Every healing turns out to be helpless
And the "Special Love" we had is now so meaningless

Was that one really the thing called love?
Or it was just simply a bluff?
Cause if it was it should have lasted
Then how did our love just easily ended?

Was it because of so much pride?
Made us deaf of each other's side,
Without listening we lost our guide
Caused our love to asphyxia so, it died

Or was there any third party?
That changed your gentleness to asperity
So tell me, where was that loyalty
That you've promised when you were winning me?

In the end that promise turned to sorry
Because you've lied about keeping me
In the end it's not a happily ever after
Cause in the end you left me and chose her

We can't call ourselves "friend"
Just by judging the way we end
We can't either call ourselves enemies
Let's just say we're simply strangers with memories

So from strangers we begin
To strangers we return
Because of battles we can't win
And promises that we left out of concern

Was there even commitment between us?
I can now see, why obstacles we failed to surpass
So, now we're both turning away
Cause we're not brave enough to fight and stay

For, maybe, it's too late to fix and apologize
Too late to end pains and cry's
But not too late to part our ways
And continue on living our remaining days

I wish we've fought some more
I wished we healed in time all the sore
