Chapter 4

After me and Matt ate and left the diner we headed for my house. I was in the mood for an orange is the new black marathon, and I wouldn't mind Matt tagging along.

When we got to my house, we walked in with the awkward encounter of Jack, Jack, Sam, Cameron, and Nash all smoking pot in our living room. Classy.

Matt smiled at the sight of them. "Heeeey guys." he said a little uncomfortable. There was a few 'heys' and 'whats ups' here and there. Sam looked annoyed.

"Have fun getting a piece bro." Nash said smirking. I did a fake gag and walked up the stairs. "I'll be up in a second" Matt said to me, and walked into the living room.

I hate it when Matt chooses Sam over me. I went into my room and kept my door open so I could hear what they were talking about. "Nash could you shut the fuck up. That's my fucking sister, asshole" Sam said.

I didn't turn on the TV so I could hear better the conversation, which was totally gonna be about me. "Matty man! I didn't know you had a thing with Claire! She's hot dude. Tell us what she's like." Cameron said.

Ew what the fuck. "GUYS STOP" Sam said. I could hear the annoyance in his voice. " Claire's my best friend I wouldn't do that with her you guys know that." Matt said, finally sticking up for me.

"Well in that case, dibs." I hear Gilinsky speak up. "No offense or anything, but you aren't really Claire's type." Matt says with maybe a little bit of jealous in his voice? "I'm every girls type." Jack says. I can practically hear the smirk in his voice.

"You aren't your best friends sisters type though so let's cut this conversation off right now, have fun with my sister Matt. Try anything I'll kill you." Sam says finally cutting off this conversation.

I hear Matt come up the stairs and enter my room. "Okay so you got Netflix up here right?" he says with a goofy smile. "Of course I have Netflix!" I say patting the spot next to me on my bed, signaling for him to lay down next to me.

We turn on some orange is the new black. And from my lack of sleep last night (thanks Sam) I crash.

Next thing I hear is Matt whispering to Gilinsky in the hallway. "I'm not joking, man. You're no good for her. Can't you be happy with all the girls you already have? She doesn't need a douche like you to hit it and quit it."

Okay, don't get me wrong it's super sweet for Matt to pull him aside and tell him to fuck off but does he really think I would give a man whore like Jack a chance? Shows his faith in me.

"Matt, don't try to get involved in something that's none of your business. If I want her, which I do, I'll have her. If I leave her, which I will, I'll leave her." What a fucking douche.

"She'll never go for you anyways. Stop wasting your time." Matt spits. "That's what they all say." Gilinsky says with a cocky laugh before walking away.
