Chapter 3.

Something has been going wrong with Jane lately. Namely, the girl has dramatically changed not only her character and manner of communication with peers and friends, as well as with her own mother, but also changed her style of clothing. She began to wear jeans and t-shirts, leather jackets more often. Jane's clothing indicated that she did not live in Auradon, but on an island somewhere. 

Why is Jane acting like this? No one knows. Only Jane's closest friends became wary of this and began actively thinking and pondering how to get the real Jane back. Moreover, only the guys from the girl's inner circle thought about it, the rest did not care about what happened to the Fairy Godmother's daughter. Although, that's what friends are for. Pull you out of a difficult situation, understand and support you like no other, save you even when you do not understand what is happening to you. Such friends were a bunch of guys: Carlos, Lonnie, Evie, Doug, Jay, Mel, and Ben. 

By the way, Carlos was not only Jane's friend, he was her boyfriend. My favorite guy. Beloved. At least, that's what he'd thought for most of the year they'd been Dating. But the situation that happened with Carlos and Jane a day ago completely turned his idea of the girl and their, it seems, such a sincere once romantic relationship.

Previous day.

Carlos still hoped that Jane had been in a bad mood or just tired. Therefore, before classes, the guy approached the daughter of the Fairy Godmother, when she calmly stood at her locker and transferred school textbooks to her bag. 

- Hello, Jane, - De Vil said, smiling affectionately at the girl. 

Instead of answering, she just turned her head sharply at him and appraised the guy from head to toe.

- Well, Hello, - she said. Jane's voice sounded as if she wasn't particularly happy to be with Carlos.

- Nothing. I wanted to ask... How are you feeling today? - asked the guy, trying not to immediately start a topic of interest to him.

- «Great», - Jane told him, rolling her eyes up at the sky, pointing at the quotation marks with her fingers.

- What is happening to her? - Carlos thought.

- Look, what are you doing tonight? - De Vil asked.

- What's it to you? - arrogantly yelled Jane, slightly chuckling.

- Don't yell, please, - Carlos said softly, - I wanted to ask you out..How do you feel about that?

- On a date? With you? - the Fairy Godmother's daughter asked mockingly, pointing a finger at Carlos and chuckling slightly.

- Yes, you always agreed to date me. Don't you remember? - the boy was surprised at Jane's strange response.

- No, - the girl snapped, - I have more important things to do.

Carlos nodded in frustration.

- Did you think I was dating you for love? - the headmistress's daughter asked scornfully.

- I... - Carlos started to say, but Jane cut him off abruptly.

- I don't think so. I never loved you, Carlos. NEVER, - she cried, laughing again. On the last word, Jane moved her face up to the guy's and almost hatefully said everything she thought.

Jane turned her back on Carlos and left him alone with his less than happy thoughts. Now he knew for sure that Jane had been bewitched. Something must have happened to Jane the day she disappeared. Something very bad. 

Carlos must find a way to get the real Jane back. His Jane. Jane, whom he fell in love with almost a year ago and still loves. Its eye... Blue eyes the color of a clear sky. Her incredibly kind and gentle smile that made Carlos melt every time he saw her. Jane couldn't just stop loving him. Carlos will find out what happened to his beloved and who is to blame for her inappropriate behavior. All for the sake of it. For the love.
