"-That's not a reason to mess with his food like that. I feel so bad for Marcel" Damien laughs.

"You know how much that jacket meant to me, I could have done worse." Seiko says, crossing her arms. Half jokingly, but also for warmth as they walk down the pavement.

The air is less harsh than in the morning , but that may be due to the warm drinks they had.

"Ah~...how's Mikayla been? I haven't seen her in a while too" Damien says putting his ice hands into his pocket.

"She's good. She's been out of the house more actually"

"Really?"

"Yeah. But it's just been her and Angel though"

"That's still good. I'm proud of her at least she's socialising y'know".

"Yeah".

Ever since Mikayla's met Angel a crack had formed in her stone demeanour and Seiko, as well as the others, started to see a small positive change in her.

Mikyala doesn't socialise well with people. She tries to avoid meeting new people and being in unfamiliar social settings. Seiko heard it had something to do with her childhood but she didn't pry further.

It took a long time for Mikayla to become comfortable as she is now with the other roomates. At first she would just go from outside to her room, from her room to the bathroom, from her room to the kitchen.

It was a continuous cycle that was unbreakable. It was like there wasn't even another roomate, just an extra presence wandering the house.

Then one day, maybe it occurred to Mikayla that she would have to interact with all 4 of her house mates at one point, but she came downstairs and sat with the rest of them for dinner for the first time.

At first it was a shock, everyone froze, no one knew how to act in the situation. Then Marcel let out a huge laugh that brandished his teeth.

"Ahhhh" Marcel said after a full minute of laughter "Mikayla you're actually funny y'know". He said wiping tears from his eyes.

The tension was broken and everyone laughed lightly as they ate their food.

If Mikayla hadn't come down that day, probably no one would have approached her out of fear and they wouldn't all be as close with her as they are now.

Seiko turned into her street and saw a few big boxes at the door.

"Are you man moving or what? Why do you have so many big boxes outside your house" Damien asks.

"I don't know" Seiko opens the gate for Damien then closes it behind her. "Probably Mikayla's or Ivy's deliverey's".

Seiko looks at the boxes and tries to come up with a game plan on how she'll move them into the house.

"Lemme help" Damien suggests as he piles two out of the three large boxes onto one another and lifts them.

"Thanks" Seiko says as she balances the box on one hand, opening the door with the other.

When she enters, she and Damien take off their shoes at the entrance. There's no pairs of outside shoes at the door, but all four slippers are at the door, bar Ivy's.

I guess she hasn't gone out today. She's probably still asleep. Judging from the blare of the TV, she's wrong.

As she climbs the stairs, she enters the room on the left.

There she finds Ivy, with only the back of her head in sight housing long jet black curls that fall on the back of the sofa, watching a drama on the TV.

"You're actually awake?" Seiko says as she places the boxes near the door in the corner of the room.

"I know! I'm surprised myself."

"Should I just put this one next to the others?" Damien asks, still carrying the two large boxes.

"Yeah". Seiko says stretching her muscles for a bit.

Ivy turns around, her smooth, brown face turns into view her light brown eyes meeting with Damien's.

"Hey Damien! it's been a while" She says waving at him.

"Yeah it really has, I haven't been here in months." He says looking around. "Nothing's changed".

While the two are catching up, Seiko makes her way to the conjoined kitchen. She takes notice of the bags of food that weren't there when she left.

"WOW. You even went grocery shopping. Who are you and what have you done with Ivy? Whoever you are, don't bring her back" Seiko says unpacking.

This earns a narrowed look from Ivy, which makes Seiko laugh.

"They should have taken you instead. I prefer Ivy" Damien jokes as he gets up to help Seiko.

Whether Ivy is laughing at the drama or Damien's comment, Seiko isn't amused.

"I don't know why you're here. Go and hang out with your favourite person, Ivy" Seiko pushes Damien out of the way.

"Don't be like thatttt~" Damien whines putting the tins in the cupboard.

"No, I will be like that" Seiko pushes.

"Okay, how about I make it up to you... I'll finish packing up AND I'll make lunch for you guys" Damien suggests looking at the ingredients in the bag.

"Cool" Seiko drops the snacks with a smile, and jumps onto the sofa and joins Ivy.

"I feel scammed" Damien mumbles as he finishes unpacking the rest of the bags.

-----------------------------------------------------------

"Food's ready" Damien says.

Hit by the smell, Seiko and Ivy get up and enter the kitchen.

There on the glass table were 3 plates of lasagna, pasta and garlic bread.

The two hungrily sat down.

After placing glasses of water on the table for the two, Damien sat down.
