The Adventures of Perseus Book 1 The Titan's Curse

Chapter 2

[ i have not decided the final pairing because this will be a long series. This first book will be a redo of the original series then he will go to different worlds (crossovers) and there will be a ton of love interest until i pick which pairings is best.]

The small infant in the forest stopped crying after a long while.He started to look around with sparkling eyes that was boundless with colors his eyes full of intelligence surpassing a newborn. The baby's eyes roamed around the forest looking at the colorful forest. He started to twist around until he was on his stomach.

 He started to push on the ground slowly in a crawling position if anyone were to see him now he would have thought he was looking at a 7 month old baby who is ready to walk. pushing his hand on the ground he started to stand up. Balancing himself every so slowly .He put one foot in front of the other slowly taking his first steps. The animals from rabbits ,squirrels and wolves were looking at the baby making his first step they could feel that the baby boy was connected to them somehow but they were afraid to approach him as he took his first steps.

The little boy moved his small feet trying to walk towards a sparkling looking tree different from the others. Before he could each the tree by a couple steps he tripped on his legs. Putting his hands in front of him ready to meet the ground a pair of hand picked him up. 

Surprised the little boy looked at his saviour. His saviour was a middle-aged women that had a beauty of a goddess but she had sharp teeth like a lion and a tail of a leopard. The women looked at the boy strangely as its been  thousands of years the last time she saw a baby. Looking at the women the boy started to giggle looking at her leopard tail and poking her teeth.The women wore a look of surprise as the boy giggled. 

She scared people with her teeth and tail but this boy was giggling as if he just found a new toy to play with. The women could not help but smiled warmly at this young boy who was still giggling. "It's been a long time since i saw one of your kind" she said smiling her sound was angelic a voice that had not been used for years. Holding the boy awkwardly as he tried to touch her tail the goddess started to walk away from the sparkling tree with golden fruits of more than a kind. 

Breaking through the edge of the forest towards a golden castle that was shining under the dazzling sun. The women entered her castle in long strides and past many servants who bowed to her. She didn't say anything to the servants as she never talked to them. She reached her room opening the door she entered the dazzling room that was as big as a small village. the room was more like a castle by it self with gardens, beds and couches.

Snapping her fingers a small bed next the women's bed. The boy stopped giggling as he looked around him with a big grin that looked too unbaby like.Most teachers would shiver if they saw this grin as it was the troublemakers grin that gave them nightmares at night.Laying the small boy on the bed she once again her fingers making clothes appear on the infant that was already struggling to get out of the bed. 

Frowning slightly the woman snapped her finger in front of the boys faces intending to make him fall asleep but he just looked at her fingers and started to giggle. The women was surprised because any mortal would fall asleep instantly after a snap of her fingers. 'so this little kiddio must be a immortal then' she thought to herself. 

Snapping her fingers  more forcely this time making the boy dizzy and started to fall asleep slowly.She looked at the boy and turned around .she started to walk towards the door but before closing the door behind her she turned to look at the boy with a small smile "Maybe you will help me forget what i lost" she said in a whisper barely being heard.

An/ 729 word count. Who do think is that women and what did she lose.i bet that you wont know.Review plz .
