THE DEATH OF ELISA LAM

Elisa Lam was last seen on January 31, 2013 in the lobby of the Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

She was vacationing through the West Coast, documenting the trip on her blog, and checking in with her parents every day. On January 31 those calls stopped. Lam had vanished. Soon the police were involved and her parents arrived to help with the search. The last thing anyone knew was her in a elevator acting very strange. She would look around outside the elevator like she was looking for someone. Then, she would stand in the corner and talk to nothing.

After Elisa had gone missing hotel guests were complaining about the water being black and tasting weird. An employee went on the roof to check the water tanks. They found Elisa's decomposing body. The employees didn't know how she got in there because it has an alarm that goes off when someone opens the door to the roof and on the water tank it is really difficult to open. Some people think she was talking to a ghost on the elevator and in the video you can see just before she disappeared she is moving her hands near the entrance of the elevator. The doors on the elevator then, started to open and close by itself. Nobody knows what had happened to her. That video is the only thing anybody saw.
