"Matt? Yeah hes fine." he said
I felt my heart break when he mentioned Matts name i knew he had done something to him.
"You know where daddy is at?" Lauren asked him.
"Lauren go play in the swings, please" I demanded her.
"Pretty girl you have" he said laughing with his stupid annoying laugh.
"What do you want? where is matt?" I asked him, trying to hold the tears.
"Ah shh... don't worry he's in a better place now. What do i want? I want to make you miserable, I want to make you suffer like your dad made me suffer" he said while starting to walk away
"TELL ME WHERE MATT IS AT" I yelled at him in tears begging for an answer.
"HES DEAD" He screamed at me
I felt as if i was punched in my heart. I was weak. I couldn't feel my legs i slowly fell into the ground. I couldn't help the tears from coming . This couldn't be happening. No he can't be dead. As i was about to get up i noticed David was gone.
"Mommy? What did he do to you" she asked me
She hugged me. "Lauren if you ever see that man, please don't get too close to him please" i told her
"But why? He said he was daddys friend" she said tearing.
"No baby don't cry listen, lets go home and lets take a hot bath. Deal?"
"Deal!" She said excited
I grabbed her hand and started heading to the car.

I prepared the hot bath for Lauren. I received a message from Mahogany. I opened the message.

Sure can you come i need someone to talk to :(
I put my phone in the bathroom floor while I finished Lauren's hot bath.
"The bath is ready!" I told Lauren
I got a notification on my phone. I picked it up and it was mahogany.

I needed someone to talk to and mahogany was the only person i had.
I heard the someone knock on the door. I got up from the floor and went downstairs to open the door. I opened the door and mahogany was standing there with a big smile on her face.
"Hey i missed you!" She said hugging me really tight.
Over the years me and mahogany have gotten really close.
"I missed you too" i said not sounding happy
"Whats wrong?" She said taking a seat on the couch
"Matt" I sighed
"Wh-what with him?"
"He is dead" i looked down
Her face turned pale. She hugged me really tight while i broke to tears.
I couldn't be strong. The other half of me is gone..
