Another day in hell. It's morning, my alarm is beeping, and I don't feel like going to school today. I don't feel like listening to people talking about who kissed whom, or stuff like that.
I got out of bed and ready for school. At least, it is senior year for me- the last. When school is over, I am going to be focused on finding the people who murdered my parents. I might not go to college, but it would be worth it because I will get to have my sweet revenge.
I got on my small Ford to go to school. Then, on my way to school, I stopped at Starbucks to get myself a refresher to drink before class starts. Though, with this traffic, I'm without no doubt, going to be late for class.
I got to my school a little late, so I probably missed a couple of minutes in my history class. I really shouldn't have stopped at Starbucks, I don't want Mrs. Chamber to give me detention. She gives anyone detention for being late, or for doing anything, for that matter.
As I entered the classroom, everyone was staring at me. They probably were staring because I was late, and I'm never late.
"I see you decided to join us, Ms. Knight," Mrs. Chamber said. "Why are you late? I wouldn't have expected it from you."
"Well, Mrs. Chamber, there was a lot of traffic," I explained. This is the worst excuse ever, she would never believe it.
"That is no excuse, Ms. Knight. For that, you're getting detention. Now go and find yourself a seat!" She ordered.
There is no point in fighting back, so I just found a seat near the window in the back corner and sat down. I have never noticed this before, but there are so many people in this class. They should add more seats.
By the time lunch came, I sat at some table because some people were sitting where I usually sit. I'll just come earlier tomorrow, and take it before anybody else does.
I decided to sit outside on a bench and wait for my friend, Lisa. As I waited, I saw those mean girls pick on a guy— a nerd. I was about to interfere, but right then Lisa appeared in front of me.
"Hi," Lisa said.
"Wait a second, I have to do something real quick," I told her.
While I was walking to defend the guy who was being picked on, this other guy came to defend him. I don't know why HE would come.
