Erin would yawn heavily, another night of not sleeping. Would this be the third day? Maybe the fourth? No matter, he didn't sleep and that's all he knows. He groans and decides to just get out of bed and shower. He needed to take one anyways to just focus. He slowly shuffles out of his room, gently tapping a picture of his parents and himself as he passed.
Getting into the bathroom he yawns and glances at himself in the mirror, his dark brown, almost black, hair looking like a birds nest on his head. His electric blue eyes still bright enough to appear to give off a glow, but the bags under them showed how little he slept. His skin, paler than normal since he had tried keeping inside most of the time. His soft pink lips almost perfect except for the lower right side, where it still had a small cut in it. He brings his hand up to it and touches it, wincing a bit as he does.
"It still fucking hurts damn it." He curses under his breath silently, clenching his fist as he does. Sighing, he glances at his wrist, seeing all the light scars that cover them, almost up to his elbow on his right arm. Putting his left hand to cover his right wrist, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before opening them and taking off his shirt and turning on the shower. Letting it heat up he slowly unties his sweatpants and let's them drop, being a size too big for him. He then checks the water and pulls back quickly, the water burning his hand a bit. He adjusts it to the right temperature and slips out of his boxers, stepping into the shower.
The water was a bit colder than he normally preferred but it would help wake him up so he's fine with it. Sticking his head under the stream of water he gets shampoo in his hand and starts washing his hair. Rinsing it out he gets a bit in his eyes and curses the asshole who decided that soap should hurt when it gets into sensitive areas. Finally getting his hair washed and conditioned, he grabs his soap and starts washing the rest of himself, somewhat rushing as he does want to eat.
As he finishes his shower, he hops out and wraps his towel around his waist. Working his way into his kitchen he tosses a quick breakfast into the microwave and let's it cook. Yawning, he goes back to his room to dry off and throw on his clothes that he had set out the night before, a simple outfit of a black hoodie and jeans. Grabbing his socks he pulls them on the slips into his sneakers and goes back into the kitchen, pulling out the food and tossing it into his bag with a can of energy drink that he always carries with him.
Slinging his bag over his shoulder and making sure his folders are where they are supposed to be he grabs his keys and makes his way out the door. Locking it as he closes it after him he clips his keys onto his belt loop and makes his way down the hall towards the dorm buildings exit.
Trying to get out the door and out of the building as fast as he can he fails to notice the string someone had set up across the hallway and trips over it, falling flat on his face. The door next to him opens and Jay, the stereotypical bully-jock of the school, quarterback and all, grabs Erin by the back of his collar and lifts him up to his feet.
"Man you're a stupid fucking clutz aren't you, tripping over nothing. Maybe you should look ahead of yourself instead of at the floor all the time." Jay says as he shoves Erin towards the door. "Now get out of my view before I kick your scrawny ass again."
Eric stumbles forward as he's pushed, catching himself on the door and opening it up, scurrying outside. Yep, just another regular day in the life of Erin Schmidt.
