August POV
I'm on my way to the Hospital now .
I'm so worried about Makayla and how is she doing? Thoughts are racing thru my mind. Somebody had to hit her on purpose.
Finally I arrived to Baylor Hospital downtown. I went to the front desk and asked for Makayla Smith room number and they told me room 108.
When I finally got up the stairs and went inside her room, there was tubes all inside her and bandage wrapped around her head. Tears flowed down my face. I say down next to her holding her hand and saying:
God, I know I haven't been the best man to Makayla. But I have to admit I did her and Makenzie wrong. If you just let her wake up from this coma. Without her and Makenzie in my life I'm nothing, I could end up losing my career. I'll do whatever it takes to have them back in my life and to be a family.
When I got done, Makayla opened her eyes and said..
"That was sweet what you said."
"Thanks, I guess."
"I'll give you one more chance."
"Thanks."
*docter walks in*
"Well Makayla Smith you are good to go and ready to be released."
"Ok"
Makayla POV
As I was gathering my things to leave August was talking to Mama Shelia and seeing if Makenzie can spend another night. I feel so much better since August is here.
*both walks out of room into the lobby*
August POV
Baby stop right quick and let me tie my shoe.
Makayla POV
August stopped to tie his shoes, then he reached into his pocket and pulled out this box. As soon as I saw that box tears flowed down my eyes.
August:"Makayla Smith, we have been together for a long time..I want you and Makenzie to be a part of my live forever. I promise I'll never screw up and be the best I can be. Will you Marry me?"
Makayla:"...Yes..."
August:"Ok"
Makayla:"Ok"
August:" Ok will be our always"
