"Hello I'm Aimee-- wait that's too proper... What's up I'm Aimee- no that's too casual. I need to be more----- more.."

"Aimee just come on, hurry up and introduce yourself so that I can go. I know they're dying to see me!"

"Lucy! This is my intro. Kick rocks.."

If you're wondering, Lucy is my self centered best friend who's way too vibrant but, I tolerate her anyway. We have a group project. Its our last group project before we graduate and we have to film ourselves doing something creative for our video com class. A huge part of me is really excited that we're seniors because we have a month until graduation and the other half is sad because Lucy and I are going to different colleges.

"Come on children. Get it together" Derrick decides to ruin it for me too. Oh what lovely friends I have.

The rest of the day goes by dreadfully slow being that we have finals coming up. I won't make it through this torture.

"Aimee- snap out of it" someone is waving their hand in my face and I can't help but laugh. Lucy knows I love that song.

"I wanna grab both your shoulders and shake-- baby snap out of it" I demonstrate on Derrick while singing and he just looks at me like I have horns growing out of my head.

"She's in a good mood I'm guessing" Lucy smiles wide because she knows exactly why I am. The captain of the football team, Aaron asked me on a date for this weekend. I've been smiley all day today after he asked me.

"What am I missing?" Derrick furrows his eyebrows and slightly pokes out his bottom lip. It's cute.

"Aaron is what happened!" Lucy shouts as she tows me down the hall. I look back at Derrick who looks like someone just stole his last pack of gushers and as if someone took the last bit of Nutella.
