Maya’s POV
I looked at the gift that the boys and Alice had all chipped in to buy, it was amazing that they remember the small detail I had told them about my childhood.
“Do you like it?” Louis asked. I looked up and all the rest were looking at me, waiting for a response and watching in anticipation.
I hesitated and thought of the right way to put my response but there was only one way I could. As a tear stream down my cheek and as I rubbed it away.
“I LOVE IT,” I yelled. I kissed Louis cheek, then went around, and kissed all the boys cheek and gave them a big hug.
After I thanked all the boys I went upstairs and got a shower, I put on my winter Elmo PJ’s and headed back down. Everyone else had the same idea and were all snuggled up in their PJ’s on the sofa. Alice was snuggled up to Harry on the left sofa, Niall, Liam and Zayn were sitting on the other sofa and Louis had the one on the right, space reserved for me. He looked up at me and nudged for me to go over to him, Louis had obviously snuck into the room and taken the DVD because it was already playing in the DVD player.
I snuggled up to Louis, laying on the sofa wrapped in his arms and he pressed play.
“Have any of you actually watched this movie before?” I asked.
“Yep,” Said both Harry and Alice in unison after which they found the need to start making out.
“Yeah,” Said Louis, “Four younger sisters.”
“Yeah,” Said Zayn.
Everyone looked at Niall as he sat there eating the food out of the gift basket.
“I haven’t,” He said stuffing his mouth with found.
“You have never seen, The Muppet Christmas Carol (A/N my favourite Christmas movie EVA!!!)?” I said in surprise.
“No, never seen the fuss,” He replied.
Louis’s POV
I laid behind Maya, holding her close watching the movie. It came to an end fast and I felt that Maya had fallen asleep. Her breathing was slow and steady, she laid there so calm. I admired Maya, she was so thin, like she didn’t eat but I know how much she eats during the day I am surprised she isn’t fat, I guess she was eating for two, well that’s the excuse she used.
The movie was finished in no time but Maya wasn’t the only one asleep, Alice had fallen asleep in Harry’s arms and Zayn had fallen asleep on Niall who hasn’t stopped eating since the start of the movie.
“I am taking this one upstairs,” I said quietly.
“Same,” Harry smiled.
I moved from behind Maya and stood in front of her. I hesitated to pick her up, not because I didn’t think I could lift her, because she is so light it’s ridiculous, I stood there just to look at her. She was so beautiful, and that was even the most amazing thing about her. She looked so peaceful and calm, like she had no worries and she looked so innocent which she wasn’t, she straightened Hazza hair once that was funny and she hid all the mirrors and food with the help of a certain boyfriend too.
I picked Maya up bridal style and gently carried her upstairs. I made it to the bedroom and Harry pulled the sheets back for me, he is like a curly ninja that one. Anyway, I put Maya down and turned to see if Harry was still in the room but he wasn’t. I closed the door and lay down next to Maya. Maya rolled over and she was awake. She looked me in the eyes and lifted her head.
“Thanks for the best Christmas Eve ever,” She whispered.
“You’re welcome,” I replied.
She pulled me on top of her and we were lip locked in no time, one hand Maya had intertwined with mine and the other she had on my cheek. My other hand was on her hip, as time went on we got more intimate and our clothes got lost.
