Fireworks

first day back

Elizabeth pov
"Elizabeth" "Elizabethh" "ELIZABETH" veronica yelled as she woke me up. "you ruined the good dream i was having" i said while yawning. "i dont care, its the first day of school. Get your uniform on, its on the drying rack." veronica said as she walked out my door.

i got out of bed and got ready for the day.

time skip

as we pull up to the school i couldn't help but stare. it is MASSIVE! wayy bigger then my last school, Camelot high. "thanks for the ride v" (nick name for veronica). as she pulled away i walked into the school. "wow it's gorgeous in here" i almost said out loud. it truly was beautiful. i tried making my way to the front office to get my schedule, but i couldn't find it. "Ellie! there you are" Estrossa said as he walked into the hall. "hey esta, can you help me find the office, i can't really find it.." i said while twirling a piece of my hair.

i really hate asking people to help me do things, i get super nervous.

after i got my schedule me and estrossa had to split ways because we didn't have the same classes. he's 1 year older then me, so he takes senior classes. i look at my schedule and the first class i have is history, room 315. 

as i walk into the history room, i notice that no one is in there. "sweet! now i can pick my seat." i walk over to a seat in the back by a window. history is boring, i rather watch paint dry then do this. just then some people walked into the classroom.  it was a group of three, 2 girls and one boy. i kept looking out the window minding my own business.

the class gradually filled, and seats were being taken. thank goodness no one has decided to sit next to me. i prefer to sit alone.
as the lesson was about to start another person walked into the classroom. just my luck. it was a decently short boy with messy blonde hair and dark purple onyx eyes. He defenetly doesnt look like the nice type. 

wait.... I remember him now. he's the one i bumped into at the festival.

as he walks up to the seat beside me, we make eye contact. "what?" he said. he had an annoyed expression on his face. "o-oh nothing, sorry" i quickly say as i look down.

"*Ahem* before i start this lesson, we have a new student with us today. can you come up to the front and introduce yourself to the class?"

oh god, why me? I quicky  get up and walk to the front. " state your first and last name, and one thing about yourself." the teacher said as he sat down. " i- i'm Elizabeth Liones... a-and i like fireworks"  i was internally shaking. "okay you can go back now."

as i'm walking to my seat, a random girl put her leg out just as i passed her and tripped me. i landed face first into the floor. "ouch" is all i could say. as i hold in my tears i can hear some snickers around me. this is so embarrassing. i pick myself up and walk back to my seat.   "You fell pretty hard." the boy said. "i- uh, yeah i guess i did" i said as i twirl a piece of my hair.

"So for today's class we will be doing a a project with your table partner. you will be making a 3d copy of one of the 5 races kings and queens. you have until a week from now. friday, september 17th.

"well, i guess we're partners" the boy said as he packs up his bag. " yeah, i guess we are. can i get your name?" i asked. He looked at me and said "its Meliodas Wrath."
