A harsh fit of coughing filled the silent air as Guardians paws were planted on the floor, spitting out blood the male blinked. His world spinning as he rolled onto his back to settle his mind on what's happening. He felt the feeling of vile creeping up as he got up, paws on his stomach as he reached out and gripped on the nearby desk he awakened by.

His paw brushed against an object as his ears perked up and glanced over to the nearby surface. A camera and a tape recorder were there, a note was taped to the tape recorder with the words ' Play Me : ) ' written on them.

Interested, Guardian pressed a button the tape recorder as he stumbled back in surprise after it went off. Click, " Welcome! You're now listening to the sound of my disembodied voice! It will serve no purpose to look for me! for this is a voice from the past. I bid you welcome to my chambers of perturbation! A set of recordings that were prepared to chaperone you through the chambers ahead. there are few parts to the study we're working on and it is up to you not only to pass but to see if you could tame these creatures who lurk down here. Anyways, Please go on and move out of this room! Just remember they can all be saved, there's always away. " The voice on the other end, which sounded female almost spoke as the tape recorder ended. A clicking signaled Guardian that the tape was now done.

He was confused, he didn't know what they meant about these 'Creatures' they told about. But grabbing the camera he opened it to see initials carved into the side with the words 'WB' on there. Guardian blinked, he was confused. He stopped for a moment to remember anything, but everything was a blur. He couldn't even remember his name, so flipping through the recording, he came across one corrupted recording that was saved.

Clicking play it buzzed as the simple words " Guardian " Was made out before it ended, nothing was shown due to the screen being black and its glitches. Closing the camera he sighed and looked over to the door that leads to the unknown. Moving towards the door his paws grabbed the handle, dread overcame him as he exited the room. He was greeted with freezing wind hitting his face as he recoiled from the sudden temperature change. The door shut behind him as he rose the night vision camera due to the darkness.

He couldn't even see his paw in front of his face but thanks to the camera he was able to see. Moving around, he looked around to find a night source. The walls were old and the floorboards below him creaked with every step he made, the fear of them breaking and him possibly falling into the possible basement of this place made his heart pound against his chest. Approaching a staircase, they looked unsturdy as if they were ready to fall apart with even the slightest pressure that's put against them. He suddenly felt light-headed as he placed a paw against the wall, holding himself up.

The darkness wasn't helping as he forces himself up and down the stairs, his paws shaking as he almost tumbled down the stairs as he almost lost his footing. Suddenly, he heard crashing from down the stairs he's on, staring down the black emptiness. " Hello...? Is anyone there? " Guardian called out, his voice scratchy as he hissed in pain. His throat throbbed in pain as he gently rubbed it. The silence was his answer as he continued down the stairs. if someone was here with him they may have answers on why he was here. Taking a final step he reached the new cold hard floor.

They were hard cold stone as the walls were coated with a substance not even himself wanted to figure out what it is. A yellowish light made him wince as it shined into the room he was in. Approaching it he noticed it was a lantern. It was lit as he grabbed it and rose it, putting his camera down for the new light source he looked around.

The yellow gleam made the room looked almost as if he was in a horror movie and he was the victim getting stalked by the killer. It seems as if he was in an old cellar as there were old pictures of old folks and furniture that made it seem like he was in a living room yet there were barrels scattered everywhere. Moving out of the room he shivered, the only thing he had on was dirty jeans and a torn gray hoodie. And yet the cold tiles made his feet stung as he continues to move throughout the cellar. " Hello? " He called out once more, wanting someone or something to answer him to assure him he wasn't alone.

A sudden door slamming made him jolt and instantly ran off, not wanting to deal with whoever slammed the door. He came across a staircase with sunlight shimmering down the steps. Glancing back once more he lowered the lantern as he turned it off and ran up the stairs, his footsteps thumping against the old wooden boards as they creaked. Just the thought of a creature no one would ever want to encounter chasing him up the steps made him go quicker as he landed on the top step he stopped and let out a gasped for air. Panting as he looked down the stairs, relieved there was some other light he winced as the sunlight shined on his face through the window.

Taking another step he stepped into something wet, looking down and raising his foot he stepped into pink goo like substance. " Ew, what the hell... " He muttered under his breath, walking around the puddle and to the window.

Placing down the lantern, he grabbed the window and attempted to lift it open. Grunting, he let go as he sighed. It didn't even budge, looking over her spotted a chair and a small table. Grabbing the chair as he knocked a toy rabbit off it he lifted it and slammed it against the window only for it to bounce off and make him tumble back. Looking at the window in disbelief he sighed and dropped the chair with a thunk. Grabbing his ears and lightly tugging on them in annoyance, he looked at the window and out of it to see only trees blocking his view.

Groaning, Guardian grabbed the lantern and looked at the pink puddle before noticing a trail leading away from it. Curious, he followed the trail into a nearby office. The red curtains around the windows as the blinds were closed. A candle was lit and glowed around a torn off page from a notebook by the looks of it. The candle seemed to have been there for a while due to it almost burnt completely.

Going over to the desk, avoiding the small puddles he grabbed the page and lifted it. His eyes grazed over the words as he slowly grew more disoriented. " This is going to be difficult to word out, and I'm just hoping this liquid will do its thing. If you're reading this, it has successfully worked. You're in danger, a shadow is following you and it's only a matter time before it finds you. You need to get out of here, you probably don't remember anything and that's a good thing. You CHOOSE to forget, remember that. - Guardian. " Guardian addressed out aloud, reading to himself.

Flipping it over he sighed and dropped it and fell back into the chair. pinching the bridge of his eyes in annoyance as he tried to understand what it means.Getting up as he left the note behind, his lantern dangled as he carried it out of the room. A sudden gust of wind slammed all the open doors nearby closed, startling him as he dropped the lantern and jump back. Picking up the lantern he took off running in the opposite direction where the wind didn't come from. All Guardian knows now is that he's fleeing from something and that he needs to get out of this place as soon as he can.
