Tom Holland Oneshots

" So, Mr Holland, are you working on anything right now?" My father asked Tom as me and my family were sitting at the dinner table.

Tom nervously gulped down a little bit of food that was still in his mouth. Tom really wanted to impress my family tonight. Sure we have been dating for 8 months now, but with his work schedule and my family living in France, it is difficult to find a time that works for everyone. So my parents have never gotten to meet Tom yet.

" Currently I have nothing surprisingly. We are in a dead spot for the movie industry." He responds, trying to take some confidence. Avery, my younger sister who is 17 years old, sees right through his acting. I decide that I should try to save him from embarrassment.

"Tom did just finish filming Uncharted a few weeks ago." After I finish, I wink at him and he mouths a thank you to me. I shovel another spoonful of my mother's signature Soupe à l'oignon. 

"Isn't that just a video game?" Avery's twin sister Ozzy responds.

" It was but now they are making it to a film." I tell Ozzy, almost yelling a little because she is only saying this because she wants to make Tom feel awkward. Avery and Ozzy are the only ones who have met Tom before.

" Why make a movie if you already have the video game to tell the story." Avery says and I give her a glare from her comment. Through my glare I spotting Avery give Ozzy a wink.

They were up to something and I was not happy about it. I decide to forget about it until happens. I look next to me and see Tom talking with my youngest sister, Jules.

She is only 12 and is so happy to finally meet Tom. She loves marvel so much and to meet a member of the marvel cast that isn't her own sister. I would have taken her on the red carpets but marvel executives said she was a little young still.

" Anyway," my mother tries to break the tension in the room. " Y/n how is working on that new french spy film?"

" It has been great actually, I'm able to speak in my native language while acting, so it is really fun. It was quite funny actually when Ryan Gosling came on set and was practicing his lines. He kept messing up his French." I laugh just thinking about it.

" How did I not know that Ryan Gosling is in this french spy film." Ozzy comments.

" Were you not listening when I was here last weekend talking about it. He is my love interest, remember?"

" Oh right" Ozzy just laughs it off. I could feel Tom's gaze on me, it was a questioning gaze. He didn't know Ryan was my love interest.

"Oh, Thomas ne connaît-il pas Ryan? Cela nécessitera quelques explications." Avery says in French.

(English: Oh does Thomas not know about Ryan?? That will need some explanation.)

I'm taken off guard by Avery switching to French. She knows I told her no french while Tom is here, it will only stress him out more than he already is. Tom thinks my family hates him, but it really just that they aren't the friendliest people.

"Pourquoi parlez-vous en français, je pensais vous avoir dit que cela le rendrait plus stressé." I respond back in French, glaring at her.

( Why are you speaking in French, I thought I told you it would make him more stressed.)

"Oh, calme-toi. Il sera bien. Avery et moi voulons juste nous amuser, jouer avec nous." Ozzy replies to me instead.

( Oh ease up. He will be fine. Avery and I just want to have some fun, just play along with us.)

"Très bien, seulement parce qu'il est mignon quand il est confus." I give in, but the comment I made only gets me an eye role.

( Fine, only because he is cute when he is confused.)
