-Wesley-

I'm not going to lie. My encounter with Aspen left me a bit shaken up, though I refused to show it.

I struggled to push back the memories that were trying to fight their way back in. I was not going to let her affect me.

I ended up skipping the rest of my classes and just hid out in the bathroom until school was over. I wasn't worried about my parents finding out because I had blocked the school's number on their phones, but even if I hadn't, they wouldn't have been surprised.

Even though I had only been at school for a few hours, I seemed to be becoming popular very fast.

Later that day when I had finally come home, I walked into the living room to find my mother watching old home videos of me and a little girl; Aspen.

It was as if that was my tipping point. I lost it. I had gone up to my room and slammed the door, hearing a loud crack, indicating that I had most likely broke part of the wood, I didn't care though. I proceeded to wipe my arm across my desk, knocking everything off and breaking most of it. I then grabbed the lamp from my bedside table and smashed it on the ground, followed by hurling my fist into my computer screen. Once again, all I saw was red. My head was spinning, my breathing was heavy, I was practically shaking. It was like I was feeling every bad emotion possible, all at once. I couldn't take it.

I must have passed out because the next thing I remember was waking up and seeing that I had slept through my alarm. I really did not want to go, but, nevertheless, I managed to get up and haul my ass to school, granted though I was about four periods late.

When I got to my fifth period history class, I took a seat in the back. The girls in the room who had already found a seat, all got up and practically fought for the desks surrounding me. I loved the feeling of being desired.

All of a sudden the heavy wooden door swung open, making a loud 'bang' as it hit the wall. The teacher jumped in her seat and scoffed at the boys coming in.

"The important ones have arrived," a tall guy with dark brown hair and a football Jersey gave a bow and everyone chuckled, the girls swooned. He was followed by the same guy who was in my third period with the skateboard poking out of his bag.

Skater boy scanned the room for a seat and his eyes landed on me. He nudged his friend, and they sauntered over to where I was sitting.

"Scooch ya booch, Stacy," the guy with the jersey said to the girl with bleach blonde hair, sitting behind me.

"Back off Raymond, I was here first," she scowled.

"And I'm here now. Plus, I'm prettier than you," he gave a toothy grin that made Stacy huff, but nevertheless, she got up and moved.

"You too, Jenna. Move it," the Skater boy said in a surprisingly polite tone to the girl seated to my right.

"But-" she whined, gesturing to me, but she cut herself off because she knew she wouldn't win.

"Fine," she pouted and moved to the front with Stacy.

"Hey, I'm Caleb" the guy to my right said, sticking out his hand.

I looked at it, but didn't shake it.

"Wes," I simply replied. Caleb chuckled and dropped his hand.

"Well you're just a ray of sunshine," the guy behind me, who I assume was Raymond, laughed.

"Yep, that's me, just a happy go lucky guy," I looked behind me, giving a very obvious fake grin, which I dropped almost immediately, causing Raymond to bark out a laugh again.
