As I sit here and tell you this story, I want to start off by saying that I never thought that I would have problems with dating. Yes, I've never actually been in a relationship before and I know nothing about dating, but I just expected it to be like a fairyale. I expected to find my Troy Bolton. I wanted a guy like that who could sweep me off my feet and treat me like a princess. This is what Disney taught me and this is what I expected. I always thought that when you find that right person, you guys were destined to be together foever. I mean look at The Notebook. Ali and Noah are a perfect example of this. They were apart for many years, yet they were able to find there way back to each other. The thing is, life isn't like that! It's not your own little movie. You're not going to find your Troy Bolton or your Noah Calhoun. If only I knew the real truth from the beginning. I could have possiblty saved myself from all the heart break I've had. High School Musical and The Notebook never prepared me for the things I've gone through. This is my story.
