Zachs pov
Alex's stomach continues to grow, but maybe that's the worse part for him. I can't experience what he's going through after all, sometimes he lashes out at me then goes crying in our room and I will let him for a few minutes and if he wants to be alone for longer to cry, I leave him alone. I just try to accustom to what he wants. He picks up the strangest cravings, sometimes gets angry when the babies kick to hard. I'm worried about Alex but I try to just think this is in the moment and everything will be better after birth.
Where's Alex? In our room crying because he has yelled at me. I go upstairs, it's been a couple hours, I open the door and he was asleep. I sigh and go over and rub his back and belly. "My poor baby." I kiss his body and hold him. He wakes up a little and looks at me and I hug him and he hugs me, "I'm sorry." He said. "It's ok. It gets worse before it gets better. It'll get better after birth." I said and kiss him all over his face and he giggles a little. "I love you so much, please don't leave me." Alex said crying. "I promise Alex. I love you too." I said and kiss him and rub his belly. "Wanna go swimming?" I ask and he nods. We get undressed and I get my swim trunks on and Alex gets his swim trunks on and I help him with his swim bra and kiss his neck. "My baby boy." I said and rub his belly. I take him out to the pool and I jump in and Alex slowly gets in and he relaxes on the stairs and I come over and rub his belly, "Why not swim with me?" I ask. "I'll drown. I'm huge." He said and I lift myself out of the pool and go get Alex a couple noodles and a floatie and I bring them back. I get in the pool and I put the floatie over to the side and I help out the noodles under him and lead him into the middle, "Nothing to worry about, see?" I said and Alex smiles and rubs his belly. I smile and kiss his head, "I'll go get us some drinks." I said and Alex whines, "Take me to the stairs, I only feel safe here with you." Alex said and I nod taking him to the stairs and I get out and get out and get us water. I come back and smile seeing Alex at the stairs and I hand him the cup and he drinks and smiles, "Thank you." He said. "You're welcome baby." I said. I drink and put my cup on the table outside and then get in the pool and put Alex's drink at the side and kiss him leading him around the pool and he holds onto me and I smile at him. "I love you Daddy Zachy." He said. "I love you too Alex." I said and kiss Alex's belly and thighs. Alex is so perfect.
After a hour we get out and grab our empty cups and and dry off and I kiss him happily, "My sweetheart." I said and he giggles. We go inside and shower together and get dressed. We get into bed and cuddle together. I kiss and rub his belly and he smiles at me. Alex was 6 months pregnant currently and he just felt like this was taking forever. Maybe a little, I wanted to see our babies to. But soon we will.
Time goes by and me and Alex started going into the pool a lot more, whenever we had time. I worked and went to school still but I didn't mind doing the work. Alex needs to relax before the baby comes, and the way he has been has never worried. I sigh getting home and find him sitting on the couch watching tv and eating some ice cream, "Hey babe." I come over and kiss him, "Hey, hows your music and school going?" He asked and I smile, "Good. How you feeling?" I ask. "I learned eating ice cream has frozen them in place in my stomach." He said and I laugh. I kiss his belly and smile, "Can't Wait, you're gonna be 8 months tomorrow." I said and he nods smiling.
