As Alissa walked in through the doors of her new life just waiting to begin she looked around. Words couldn't explain how thrilled she was to finally have moved all the way from Iowa. It was the very first day of college. She was only 17 and was one of the youngest people in the entire college. As she looked around the halls and up the staircase she noticed someone. Someone that wasn't like the rest of the L.A. california styled people around there. She knew it from the very beginning. Right when she walked in the door and saw him, she knew. She knew she had to go up to him. She knew she had to talk to him, but she only knew cause she knew that he was the one for her.

Cameron was walking down the hall, he was tall, he was broad, he had a different look, and he knew he did. When he looked up from his phone, he noticed her. Alissa was standing there staring at him and he was staring right back at her and he couldn't stop. After a brief 30 seconds she finaly couldn't hold the stare and had to look away. He thought in his head that he had never seen her before and that she had to be a freshman. He knew that meant she was young and he probably would never have a chance with her since he was 22. Little did he know, she didn't care. But now he knew. He knew that he had to make the first move and go up to talk to her and figure out who she was. He knew right from the start that she was the one for him.

Both of them panicking in fear of coming and crossing each other started in different directions. Neither had the courage to go up to the other one and talk to them. Maybe it was because thats what love at first sight does to you, or maybe its because it was the fear of things not going the way they saw it in their heads, or the other person not feeling the same way. With them avoiding each other right from the start, did they think they ever would talk to each other the next time they ran into one another. Who knows?

Love has a crazy way of doing things. Its one of a kind, just like the love that these two totally different strangers could have if the smallest part of their brain that controls fear would finally free that fear so they could contact each other. Either way they both had a mission that night, and that was to find out who each other was and to get some background information so they would know the exact thing to say, how to say it, when to say it, and where to say it. But as for me, i say do it now.

It's a love story, just say yes.Where stories live. Discover now
