Marylin's POV
This is your year! It's going to be great, you've got Sebastian to help you through it. Okay, I'm ready, lets do this!!
Beep, beep, beep!!!
My alarm rang with it's annoying chirps; I rolled over and turned it off. I sat up and put my feet on the ground, slowly pulling myself out of bed. Today was the begining of an amazing year and I was thrilled. I went to the bathroom and relieved myself, I then washed my hands and then my face; feeling slightly refreshed, I brushed my teeth to rid my mouth of morning breath. I glanced at my clock and saw the time 5:30, perfect, just the right amount of time. I pulled out my straightner and flattened the lengthy blonde tundrels, that rested on my shoulders. After that I applied minimal make, using light shades of brown to make my light blue eyes light up. Proceeding, I walked into my extravaggent closet and looked at the outfit I had laid out last night. I removed my pajamas and threw them into the hamper, I slipped on clean panties and a bra, making sure the colors matched. Then, I pulled on a pair of mid thigh, high waisted white denim shorts, I pulled a blank tank top over my head and tucked it into my shorts and then put a aqua blue, sheer vest type shirt over the tank top. My final touch was my gray leather jacket and my favorite pair of all black converse. Feeling ready for the day I grabbed my purse and backpack and headed down stairs for breakfast.
My mother stood over the stove flipping pancakes, "Good morning Sweetie! Excited for your first day?"
I dropped my bags on the kitchen table and took a seat on a stool in the island. "Yes, I'm so excited mom. I can just feel that something amazing is going to happen this year." I replied boldy.
"Well, I hope something amazing does happen," She said as she set down a plate of 2 chocolate chip pancakes infront of me and a small bowl of fruit with a fork beside it.
"Thanks for breakfast mom. Where's Dad, shouldn't he be up by now?" I questioned.
As if on perfect cue my father came striding into the kitchen, "Good morning my beautiful ladies."
"Morning Dad."
"Good morning honey."
"Good luck on first day Marylin," My dad said glancing down at his watch. "I've got to get going to work, I'll see you both tonight at dinner." With that he grabbed a banana from the fruit bowl and headed off to work.
"Sorry mom, I've got to get going too." I said glancing at the clock on the wall that showed the time as 7:10.
"Okay sweetie, I love you. Text me if you have plans for after school!"
With that I grabbed my bags and headed into the garage. I opened the garage door and walked over to my motorcycle, I put my purse in the carrier case that was latched onto the back and made sure everything was secure. I slid onto the seat and started it up. I rolled out of the garage and began my ride to school. I loved riding, feeling the wind flow through every strand of my hair, liberating my body from the feeling of safety; riding gave me a thrill and a calmness.
Before I knew it I was pulling into the school parking lot and parking my bike. I turned of the engine and hopped off. I grabbed my purse, applied a light pink lip stick, fingered through my hair a bit and then walked up to the school building. I checked my watch and saw 7:30, right on time. I was through the front door and smiled as the crowd seemed to disapate and part like the red sea so I could walk down the hallway. I stopped at my locker and then the talking started up again. I opened my locker and placed my jacket inside. I closed my locker and jumped just a bit when I saw Sebastian leaning against the locker.
"Sorry babe," he said sweetly and putt a hand softly on my cheek. "I didn't mean to startle you."
I lightly laughed and tugged on his jacket pulling him closer so I could give him a kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. We released and I gave him a big hug.
"Do you have your schedule yet?" Sebastian asked.
"No, I don't yet. Would you care to accompany me to go get it from the office?" I questioned.
"Of course, my dear Marylin." He answered, holding out his arm for me to take.
I took his arm and we headed down the hall to the office. I greeted the secretary and asked for my schedule, she handed it to me and I looked it over to make sure all the classes I had signed up for were on the list. They, of course were, so I thanked Mrs. Lanket, the secretary and walked hand and hand with Sebastian back to my locker.
"So, Bash what's your scehdule?" I asked him.
"I've got Advanced Calculus, Latin 4, AP English, American Politics, Business and law, Varsity Debate and last I have AP Chemistry. What about you Mar?"
"I have Advanced Calculus, Anatomy and Physiology, AP English, AP Chemistry, Business and law, US Gov and then I've got cheer." I replied.
"Looks like we have pretty full schedules. At least we've got a few classes together!" Sebastian stated with a cheerful ring to his deep voice.
"Thanks goodness for that! And speaking of schedules, we should start heading to first period," I said grabbing his arm. "Come on, let's go."
