chapter 2: leaving

I arrived at my house or should I say mansion.
I parked my car in the garage and walked into the house with lexi and the house was in total chaos. I saw some men moving our things to the van and my mum in a business suit surpervising them while making a call at the same time.
"Hey pls be careful with that vase it's expensive"my mum said to one of the men who almost dropped her vase.
i finally snapped out of  examining the chaos around me.
"Umm...mum, what's going on here" I asked.
"I will call you back later lily" my said to her p.a and ended the call.
She finally turned her attention to me and lexi.
"Hey Lexi"my mum said to lexi
"Sweetie I'm so glad you're here because we're moving to Los Angeles"mum said
"What!!" I and lexi exlamined shocked.
"Ok sweetie calm down,I know I made a mistake by not informing you earlier, but I, your dad and chase thought it will be a good idea to change city because of all that has happened and I know it's a rash decision on my part for me to do this but I only want the best for you sweetie." She said all in one breath and breathed out.
I knew chase would be a part of this.
In case you haven't figured it out chase is my annoying twin brother.
I just stood there staring blanking at my mum I finally snap out of my daze "I will just get my  suitcase" i said and rushed upstairs.
I heard voices calling me but Ignored them and started pacing  around my room
"Lea"!! I heard Lexi called out to me before she banged the door open.
"Fuck" I cursed out loud.
I forgot about lexi for a minute
"I can't believe she didn't tell me that we are leaving New York,I mean come on I have lived here my whole life and she didn't bother informing me earlier" I ranted to lexi while pacing round my room.
"Lea calm down,I guess she just wants you to forget the past and move on with your life"
"I have move on"I said
Lexi rose an eyebrow
"Are you trying to convince me or yourself"
I sighed
"I'm going to miss you" I said to Lexi
She rolled her eyes knowing fully well I changed the topic.
"You know there is this app called Skype right.she said sarcastically.
Before I can reply back I heard chase annoying voice.
"Lea get your lazy ass down here we are leaving"chase yelled
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my suitcase which was already packed,I guess mum packed it.
it seems she really planned everything out well without me suspecting anything.
"Lea"Lexi called snapping me out of my thought
"You better get going if you want to make it at the airport on time"Lexi said
We got downstairs and the driver took my luggage to the car
"Thanks Peter"I said to the driver, he was like my second father figure.
He nodded his head in acknowledgement and left.
"I will miss you alot"Lexi said hugging me."heck even Bradford will miss you"
We burst out laughing
"Yeah I'm pretty sure he's going to be ecstatic I left"I said
"Well he shouldn't get that excited,he still has me and Connor" Lexi said
I widened my eyes at the mention of my other best friend.
What type of friend am i,to not tell my best friend I'm moving to another city.
It seems as if Lexi knew what I was thinking.
"I already informed him she said"I gave her a thankful look
You would have  figured everything out now, Connor is my gay best friend who went to Texas visit his granny that is ill.
"Can you guys hurry up "
Chase said touching his pink hair
I Ignored him, by the way the pink  hair was my hand work.
That reminds me to prank him again for not telling me that we were leaving New york.
"Bye Lexi" I said waving to her as I entered the car.
"Bye Lea and don't forget to call me when you get to l.a she said waving"
"Ok" I said as the car drove off to the airport.
