Welcome to my miserable High School life

I was walking down the hallway and didn't understand why everyone was laughing at me. I never did anything wrong , I mean I don't recall. I was always the invisible one , always in the background.

It's always only been me and Kayleigh. She is my best friend and the total opposite of me. She is fun and outgoing whilst I am socially awkward and never say a word without stuttering to people I didn't know or had just met.

So why was everyone laughing at me?

Maybe it was what I was wearing? No it couldn't be , I'm just in a simple purple shirt and faded skinny jeans with a pair of my favourite sneakers and my light brown hair in a neat ponytail.

"Hey Jess! Wait up." I hear a familiar voice say.

I turned around to see Kayleigh smiling her Oscar winning smile and waving for me to stop. Kayleigh was in a pink pencil skirt and a white blouse with a pair of white pumps that had a bit of heel. Her green eyes were full of confusion as she walked towards me. Her blonde hair was in a messy bun which , I say , looked really good.

"Hey." I said with a smile

"Why is everyone one staring at you? It's kinda weird." She said , with confusion still printed on her face.

"I really don't know. It's starting to creep me ou-"

"JESS!" I heard that overconfident voice everybody would avoid hearing.

I turned around to see Tracey strutting her way towards me with her minions , Kelly and Holly, close behind.

"Wh-at?" I said trying my best not to stutter but looks like it didn't work.

"I think you should go take a look at the poster on the notice board. Maybe then you will know why everyone is laughing at you. " She said with a wink.

She did something , I know she did. Ugh

she is such a snob , she just loves making other people's lives miserable.

Kayleigh and I pushed our way passed Tracey and walked to the notice board only to see a poster of me seated on a toilet and green gas coming from it and it said : " THIS IS THE REASON WHY THE TOILETS ARE ALWAYS CLOGGED! "

I felt tears settling behind my eyelids getting ready to fall. I turned around wanting to go somewhere no one was , I wanted to be alone. I couldn't stand being so embarrassed. I heard people's laughter as I looked around.

"Jes-" Kayleigh tried to say my name before I interrupted her.

"No just move out of my way! I wanna be alone." I whispered.

With that I run straight in the direction of the janitors closet. I always went there when in came to times like these and I always kept and extra toilet roll in between one of the shelves.

I was just about to open the door , when someone grabbed my arm forcefully and turned my petite figure around.

Where do you think you're going?" Principle Hendricks asked angrily.

"I-I-I was j-just about t-to go t-to class s-sir. " I said without looking him in the eye.

"Then explain why you were opening the door to the janitors closet?" He said with eyebrows raised.

"I-I'm sor-ry s-sir I have a l-lot on m-my mind." I said , " it w-was an h-honest mis-stake."

"Go to class now Jessica, better not make that mistake again you hear?"

"Yes sir" I managed to say without stuttering.

So I turned around and made my way to my first class , Chemistry.

Great! I thought whilst rolling my eyes.
